Yeah, I have no intention on joining the apps but I have heard that sentiment before.

Let's be real, does any of this matter if you're short?

Being fit and in shape gets you through the door. To stay in there it depends on your social skills.
/r/seduction13/04/25 09:26 PM

Yep, confidence is basically just not caring about the outcome because either way "I'll be just fine."

Clothing stores seem like such an odd choice since the men's and women's sections are usually so far apart. You'd have to have a good reason to be lurking around the women's clothes section alone without looking like a creep.

Nah I seen it suggested before but I'm still a noob at this stuff. That's why I'm on this sub 💀

As a fit guy who also prefers fit women, it sucks how few of them are out there. And the few of them that are out there are getting fought over by every single dude. Time to trash the dating apps and start dating at the gym.

Yep, in school while the boys are goofing around or playing sports with very little talking between eachother, the girls are engaging in social games. Catty arguments, who has the most attractive boyfriend, gossiping, etc. That on top of getting attention and engagement from the guys who are good conversationalists. This is part of why women tend to have better social skills down the line.

A tale as old as time. Disassociate and move on. Edit: Yeah she's basically using you for attention, validation, emotional stimulation, etc.

Finally, if you are single whilst self-improving, the best thing to do is to remain single, especially if you're over the age of 25 (by then you should have SOME sexual and dating experience to warrant waiting). Uhhh, yeeah about that...

Stop caring so much and stop taking things so seriously. Sometimes the best outcomes happen when you don't plan and just turn your brain off and go for it.

It definitely can help. If you come across like a robot they'll think you're boring, unexciting, or uninterested. You have to put some emotion into your words as that's what women respond the best to.

This is why some guys turn into fuckboys and don't commit in their 20s and 30s. They feel they missed their highschool/college prime years to deal with women and now they've grown in confidence, look better, are more stable, and make more money.

Because of the amount of options. A girls DMs on Instagram and dating apps are endless from thirsty dudes especially if she's attractive. Not to mention they love attention and validation so will pretend to be interested to eat up all the attention. This is a well known issue with online dating these days.

I didn't manage to keep it a secret and I got fired. This is why it's never good to hook up with coworkers, just not worth it to me to lose your entire livelihood for the chance to get into some panties.

Honestly, I'd say if they hate men then that shows their maturity and intelligence levels and it's best to just not associate with them at all. If you try to associate with these types of women and the slightest thing doesn't go their way, they could falsely accuse you of something and destroy your life.

Aren't nearly all of them drunk or on drugs? Once they become sober I highly doubt they'll still want to deal with you so this isn't a good strat to determine if you're good looking or not.

That's just it, 98% of the time you don't. If they're at their job then it's a 98% chance they're just being friendly because the job calls for it.

Not a vet by any means, but the times I had success with women were when I just didn't give a shit and just spoke whatever came to mind. I'd say if you can master improvisation, you'd be a God amongst men. Though at the same time I don't think it would be bad to keep a few questions or topics in your bag to keep things steadily flowing.

While you're not totally wrong, many people don't realize that picking up a girl and getting in a relationship with that girl + maintaining that relationship are two different things. Which this sub really only gives advice on how to pick up girls for hookups, not for LTRs, which is an entirely different skillset. By the time a guy "finds the perfect match" he would've been chasing after dozens of girls and become obsessed with "the hunt" and most likely unsatisfied with any partner he chooses b…

Yeah it's no secret that the dynamics between men and women these days are pretty terrible and getting worse, especially for the average Joe. Let's be real, women just have to be attractive. Men have to be attractive, make good money, be fit, be confident, charismatic, interesting, have hobbies, etc. Then once you get one there's no guarantee they'll stick around longer than a day before they ghost you forever leaving you wondering what you did wrong.

Nah he's on the right track. "Letting it happen" is for women, us guys have to go out and grab the things we want or we don't get them. There's a saying: "closed mouths don't get fed."

This seems to be a huge problem in today's dating world and honestly I think too many guys are looking too deep into it. Maybe the girl was drunk, sobered up, and isn't interested any more, maybe she has a bf/husband and wanted to see what it would feel like to cheat. There could be a million reasons why you'd get ghosted and many of them probably weren't even your fault. I'd say stop taking it personally and go at it again.
/r/seduction16/08/24 06:23 PM

There's no hack or cheat code to gain more confidence and increase your self esteem. It can only be achieved through hard work. Or you could give off the illusion of confidence by just not caring so much. Test and experiment with different strategies.

Their DMs on social media are usually much more flooded than their personal phone number. Same as on a dating app, you want to secure the number and if they offer their social media instead, it's a wrap.

I was a loverboy too. You have to kill that side of you if you don't want to get railroaded in today's dating market.

Some people would say otherwise but I'm glad these types of spaces exist for guys because no one taught me this when I was dealing with girls. Not my friends, not my family, not even my parents. I had to learn the hard way from experience. And now in these spaces guys can share their experiences to help each other avoid emotional distress and heartbreak. It took me the longest time to finally figure out that if a girl takes forever to reply, doesn't initiate, sends one word texts, never wants to…
/r/seduction11/08/24 07:23 PM

If you read the post he mentioned double or triple texting didn't yield good results. Not to mention that's the fastest way for a girl to get turned off these days, appearing desperate.

Based on these results, it's time for us lover boys to officially pack it up. Relationships are beyond dead.

Confidence is attractive but the thing is theres a thin line between confidence and arrogance. Usually it's women who demand confidence in men vs the other way around and the catch is, confidence is quite literally one of the hardest things to grow. You can be a skinny drug addict and alcoholic with low self esteem and low confidence, then completely turn your life around, get a six pack, drop the addictions, and have only slightly more confidence than you did when you were an addict if any impr…

Muscles can get you in the door but won't keep you there. Even if someone finds you attractive, if you have a personality they don't expect it'll work against you. For example I look like a total extroverted douchebag fuckboy but once people started to get to know me they realized that I was a chill laid-back somewhat shy guy. Totally fucked up my chances with women.

It's no different than guys wanting fat women over thin/fit women. They think they'll be easier to deal with due to less competition. Go to the gym to get stronger and be healthy, not to pick up women.

I remember I had a friend in high school who got girls effortlessly even women way older than him (adults when he was underaged) and when I asked him how he did it, that was his exact answer. Be an asshole.

It's funny because they'll claim they're all for gay rights and the LGBTQ but then will use gay as an insult to a straight man that rejects a woman or doesn't find that particular one attractive...
