Number 5 though... It's real... Years ago I watched a girl play a dating app, guys with good pictures, physiques, everything, just getting massacred. Usually the problem was she didn't like his name, or his smile was weird. The smallest of things will get you left swiped. If I were you I would sit down with my parents and tell it to them straight, your 21 years old and they should treat you like an adult. No need to be rude to them or demand anything, just confidently say you have a problem with how strict things are and at your age they should be more understanding. If anything, its a last ditch attempt, if it fails atleast you'll know for sure.

Not really a bad reaction from them but more of a failure from me. Yeah I stopped drinking a long time ago. When I was in my teens I hit it really hard, not because I wanted to, but because I was expected to, and I would be considered a weirdo if I didn't (grew up in rural Australia). Nowdays my tolerance is pretty much zero, so I dont even bother. There was plenty of times where I thought that I better drink as to not look strange in front of everyone, regretted it every time.
