Yes it is sexist.. The ideal temperature for the human body (at least as far as brown vs white fat production is concerned) is 19C. I have no problem working in 19C as it's often 5-10 above outside, except my female coworkers complain it's too cold.

Maybe if the person had their own income, and own money to spend, rather than relying on someone else's income, and/or showed respect and recognition that they didn't work for that money, the person writing this wouldnt feel the need to be passive aggressive.

This is probably best explained by Australia, and particularly Sydney (my home), being so young and so culturally diverse. The police force always has to remain PC. We don't have the "boy's club" style of county policing the USA and other countries have. Policing is uniform state wide, and most states forces are pretty similar.

I agree, but it's also the society around them. Australia doesn't have nearly as bad a problem as the USA, but culturally we have more respect for our police. They can fuck your shit up if you give them reason; so show respect. Even my delinquent teenagelittle brother (who won't listen too and is outright rude to family or teachers) snaps straight in the presence of police. They are not intimidating, they are genuinely very friendly, but they will not cop your crap.
