I don't know how many people here have been following this story. It makes me sick to my stomach.I question the judgement of any parent who would willingly enter a relationship with a known sex offender. Sorry, that is just a risk you cannot take in my opinion. It is a failure to both the girls and the father.

What you describe /u/angrynewyawka is what I originally thought of #GamerGate. Most of the gaming related people I followed on Twitter (Adam Sessler, Jim Sterling, Tara Long, etc), my gaming websites (Kotaku, NeoGaf forums, the ArsTechnica gaming section), and some YouTube channels all denounced #GamerGate as a bunch of misogynists who wanted to harass women out of gaming. I was really surprised when I saw a friend of mine post it on Facebook. It seems fairly obvious that both biological parents should be involved when making the hard decision to give up a child but from the Facebook post I took this from this is just another way that deadbeat men are holding women back.
