The title suggests to me that the "miscarriages of justice" are caused by the police failing to bury evidence. I get that probably wasn't what they were going for, but it is an interesting ambiguity.

On Radio 4 at least, they were trying to push the rather contrived "oh, it's just that the law isn't workable with the amount of evidence that exists in these cases. Also, the evil Tories have cut police and CPS budgets too far for the police or prosecutors to make the defenses case for them." They did have a (soon to be former) Lib-Dem on saying that listen and believe wasn't consistent with good jurisprudence.
