| 11 | /r/AskMen asks "Men that opened up to the girlfriend/wife when they asked you to open up and be more vulnerable, how did it work out for you?" and gets the wrong answer...I've actually opened up numerous times with women and I've never had it back fire. If anything, it seems to draw them in. Opening up being get too drunk and crying about people I've lost. Otherwise I am emotionally distant. I wonder if these scenarios these guys are describing are them whining over extended periods of time and never showing any sort of strength again once they "open up."
