This video shows that girls are pushing for sex too.I know people are going to downvote me for this, but I do think girls at that age are generally more mature than boys at that age. I really do believe that. Also, in judaism girls have bat mitzvahs at 12 and boys at 13, which is when judaism considers you mature enough to be responsible for your own actions, so historically in judaism at least girls were also considered to mature a bit faster than boys.
