Firemen tend to come from the same stock as police and military so you've got all the same problems that come with that SES bracket, plus the fact that they work weird schedules with a lot of downtime at work which means that they often get up to shenanigans. I know a cop/teacher couple and they seem happy but they literally only see each other a few hours a week because his "shifts" last four days and he sleeps at the station. Most of his time off is spent catching up on sleep. I can see why it…

Yes and no. I've found it to be almost entirely pointless. The only thing we use it for on a regular basis is reheating pizza and chicken.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/22 03:40 PM

No. Grieving a spouse while going through pregnancy and then with a newborn sounds like hell on earth frankly. One of my best friends died when I was three months pregnant. The day it happened I had a panic attack which is not something I had ever experienced before and that combined with being pregnant was one of the most physically/emotionally stressful things I've ever experienced. It felt like my chest was caving in and my guts were being wrung out. Before I realized it was a panic attack I …

Sure, by that logic the only stipulations for abortion is if the mother's life is at risk. Yes, in my opinion this is the only logically consistent pro life position. It takes critical thinking, decision making, and open-mindedness, all of which are related to IQ, to understand why a woman would want the option to abort a rapist's child though. I don't think they don't understand. They just don't think it justifies (what they believe to be) murder. I can perfectly understand why a parent would w…

I mean, I'm pro choice, but opposing rape exceptions if you're pro life is logically consistent. If abortion is murder, then why would there be an exception for rape? "We must protect the innocent babies at all costs... unless their dad was a rapist, in which case fuck them kids"

I don't care about body count per se. Extremely high body count (let's say 50+) tends to correlate with a lot of behaviors I do care about -- excessive drug use/drinking, reckless behavior, risk taking, etc. So I would probably end up filtering out a lot of high n guys for those reasons. But in a vacuum, barring those issues, n count alone isn't a factor I care about.

I am jonesing to hold a newborn so bad. My best friend's baby is due in a month and I will be beating her door down. My baby turns one next month and he's getting less and less snuggly every day. He's nearly walking and once that happens he will have no use for mom anymore I fear

No. I've only had sex with one guy who didn't eventually become a bf, and that was a one off drunk hookup that I didn't even remember the next day. I wasn't interested in dating him.

I would be more hurt in the first scenario so I guess I prefer the second. I don't really know what level of confidence I'd need because I never really dated like that, it's really out of my wheelhouse so I'm not sure how I'd handle it. My relationships always grew organically from flirty friendships to escalating physical intimacy/dating/sex, and usually by the time it got to sex and dating I was already like 90% sure of where it was going. I don't know how many formal dates I'd have to go on w…

Yeah I agree with this. But it seems like men interpret women taking precautions as women living in perpetual fear and thinking they ARE going to get attacked rather than reasonably assessing risks and acting accordingly. Statistically, home invasions are very rare, and you are more likely to be robbed by someone you know and willingly let into your home than a stranger entering your home at night. But most people still lock their doors and no one calls them irrational for it. I don't think thos…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 07:11 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 01:02 AM

I didn't say anything like that. But most young women have access to young men, I mean that's hardly surprising. Her access to tall men will depend on her location and ethnicity so depending on those factors she might have access to tall men. And the user population of Reddit skews toward higher earners so it's not surprising that a lot of women here would have access to higher earning men. That's their social and dating pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 09:54 PM

It calculates each factor independently without taking into account that a lot of those traits are overlapping and correlated with one another. It also doesn't take into account that someone's dating pool isn't the entire adult population, it's single adults within their rough age range, geographic location and socioeconomic status. It's not unreasonable for a 25 year old white woman to want a 25-30 year old unmarried white man, and statistically that is who such a woman will end up with. But th…

This coworker I had in college had a crush on another coworker and was always flirting and trying to hook up with her. One time on a break he went to Sonic and she asked if he would get her a drink. Irrelevant to whether or not you’re being sexist. I'm not saying the accusations are necessarily wrong, it just doesn't add anything to the debate or discussion, especially on a sub where many people are openly sexist and don't care and the subject matter is arguably sexist by nature. I don’t know any men that have this mindset but then again 80% of my guy friends are single. Yes that's my point. If all your guy friends are single of course they do all this themselves. Call me when they're married. My husband and I got into a fight about this recently because I shredded and threw away some documents that turned out to be important. When men get married, a lot of that administrative stuff gets filed into the "wife box" in their mind and becomes her responsibility. That he did it when single doesn't mean he'll keep doing it when he's married.

Idk, people have different strengths. I have a lot of creative friends; I myself am not very creative but I find it admirable and inspirational in other people. On the other hand I'm more grounded and responsible than a lot of my friends which they admire about me. I don't think a person has to be objectively in a better station than you for you to find some aspect of them inspirational.

Use a wide toothed comb to get the biggest knots out (I do this in the shower while rinsing out my conditioner) and then a Tangle Teezer. It's safe on wet hair. Not true in my experience, I think this is mostly confirmation bias. Women like having something to nurture, so they like pets, but they want kids too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/22 10:11 PM

Yeah same. It's either good or it's not. I don't really make distinctions between "good," "better," "best." The elements of good sex are always the same. I guess if I actively thought "Wow sex with X guy was so much better than sex with Y guy," that would be a pretty bad sign, but that would probably mean that sex with Y guy was just bad and I wouldn't want to be with him anyway.

Yes, female victims of sexual assault, not just women across the board on every topic. And it was directed toward law enforcement. I didn't remember the movement actually being called #BelieveWomen though, fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 10:05 PM

tbh I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone earnestly say "believe all women," that seems like some kind of game of telephone that happened over time. What I recall is a movement to believe all victims, which was about law enforcement taking a woman at her word when she reports a crime committed against her and doing their due diligence to investigate. It was never meant to be "believe everything any woman says about anything," although I'm sure some bad faith actors on both sides have twisted it in…

I'm going to guess you're in your early 20s and your parents came of age in the 80s/90s. That's why. These things tend to be cyclical. My parents came of age in the 70s and I've always been nostalgic for that time. My grandparents came of age in the 50s and my mom was nostalgic for that time. So on so forth. We grow up seeing an era that we missed out on through our parents' rose-colored glasses and their nostalgia rubs off on us.

Sorry I should have been more clear, there were certainly times/places in history where porn was illegal. But the huge jump in porn consumption you're referring to wasn't because it suddenly became legal (which it already had been for quite a while), it was because it became free, discreet and immediately accessible. Also look at Netherlands and Germany on how they deal with it. I'm familiar. In none of those countries is it possible to summon a prostitute to instantly manifest in your home, any…

That's because it's free, convenient and accessible 24/7. Legal prostitution wouldn't be any of those things. Porn was always legal, it wasn't the legality that changed things, it was the fact that it became free and ubiquitous.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 05:49 PM

True
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 04:26 AM

Yeah, if I wear blue I wear a pale blue. "True" blue and navy blue don't look good on me but some lighter blues do. Worst colors on me are pink (unless it's an orangey/salmon kind of tone) and purple.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 03:16 AM

Lol my family is like that but with L's. Thankfully there are only three of us and one goes by his middle name that starts with a different letter so it's not quite that cringe.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 02:51 AM

Yeah. I don't really do it on purpose, that's just what looks good on me so that's what I wear. I have a couple of blue things but most of my clothes are in the autumnal color family. Brown/tan, gold, rust, orange, brownish greens, etc. I also just prefer warm tones to cool tones aesthetically, not just on me but just in general. I am very affected by color, like, psychologically. Warm colors make me feel happy and peaceful, cool colors bum me out. I have dark blonde hair, green eyes and yellowi…

This is why the guys here who complain about modern women tend to be young. I don’t think they realize how common it is for boring middle aged married people to have had a wild youth. Yeah. This reminds me of how the men here say "modern women" can't or don't cook or have domestic hobbies and then you find out said man is like 20. Yeah no shit, college girls don't cook and have homemaker hobbies, women do that once they settle down, have husbands/kids, own homes etc. Of course Becky Undergrad sh…

Dude. She LITERALLY SAID that she got that message from her culture and her family. I don't know what this "we" is, I was only replying to OP, I never said anything about the messages you got.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/22 10:52 PM

She said her childhood was modern and feminist. I took that to mean her cultural/community influences. Edit: Quote from another comment from OP just now All the women in my family just told me to go be a hoe and explore lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/22 10:48 PM

Well, this dichotomy makes about as much sense to me as AF/BB, which is to say not much at all. There's no rule that says a woman who sleeps around in her youth can't be good with kids and cook, or that a woman who likes kids and cooks didn't sleep around in her youth. In my experience men go on to marry the same type of woman they slept with when they were younger, just like women do. I don't see a lot of people of either sex changing the type of person they go for drastically. But like I said,…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/22 10:47 PM

The internet blows it out of proportion. Plus a lot of these dudes are pining for some "trad" woman and lifestyle that historically never existed. If you look at any actual traditional community in the west -- Amish, Mormons, hardcore fundie Christians etc. -- the apostacy rate for men is way, way higher than for women (the only exception AFAIK are Orthodox Jews). There aren't enough young men in the churches for the young women to marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/22 10:39 PM

I've not seen much evidence that they change their minds later tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/22 10:34 PM

She's saying she grew up believing you have to be a ho but she came to learn that men actually want trad girls. I grew up believing men wanted trad girls but came to learn that they want hos (or at least, not chaste prudes).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/22 10:30 PM

lol my experience was almost the complete opposite. I grew up in a very conservative evangelical church so I was taught about the importance of purity and chastity and all of that. Meanwhile at school I saw boys chasing after the "slutty" girls and ignoring Nice GirlsTM like me. Went through an anger phase about that in high school but eventually got over it (unsurprisingly, this coincided with my leaving the church). I don't think women have to be total whores to get male attention or anything,…

OP said filial not familial. Ok? I'm me, not OP. I’d bet they don’t see their love as familial. Just because the fireplace no longer lights up doesn’t mean the memories of past flames don’t still warm the hearth. I don't understand the fireplace analogy. But I have had older relatives explicitly tell me as they got older the passionate, lusty love was replaced by something more stable and familiar. To me that sounds a lot like love transitioning from erotic to familial. I’ll give you another exa…

Arousal is a spectrum. Those butterfly in the stomach/racing heart symptoms are LITERALLY your body becoming physically aroused and increasing heart rate and blood flow. That is part of the sexual arousal process even if it doesn't lead to full on boners and gushing pussy every time. Frankly I think "asexuals" are largely liars and/or people who have some kind of psychological hangup about sex and don't want to admit or acknowledge that they are having those feelings. I don't believe they are al…

idk, the word "genetics" to me implies something about my direct lineage rather than just some broad group I belong to. If it was worded as something like "It's ok, your kind just isn't good at this sort of thing, it's not your fault," then I might assume they were talking about sex/race/some broader category. At that point how I interpreted it would depend on who it was coming from -- if it was coming from another woman, I obviously wouldn't assume she was referring to my sex. I might assume th…

When I was younger I was definitely in the "I like guys, girls are too much drama" camp. Throughout high school I only had two female friends (who are still my best friends today) and the rest of my friends were guys. In college and through my 20s I made a lot more female friends and was part of a big co-ed friend group who hung out together all the time. Now in my 30s I still have friends of both sexes, but I've come to value female friendship a lot more at this stage of life.

Women could very much work in the 40s. There were tons of female scientists there. And the "white picket fence romanticism" was after the war. Your examples were from the past too so I'm not sure what your point is anyway. Shouldn't the same logic apply to Neitchze, Von Numann, Tesla et al too? If it was easy to get a wife back then as long as she didn't work and you made good money then why couldn't those guys get one?

I've always found it odd how feminists- many of whom haven't had sex in years and are effectively asexual or nonsexual- get incredibly offended when you suggest women simply have lower libidos on average than men. Why does this piss them off? Because liberal feminism's entire philosophy and worldview is based on the idea that there are no inherent biological differences dictating the behavior of men vs. women and that it's all just socialization.

Yes, but not necessarily random ONS with strangers they just met. This is not in contradiction with my claims. I know, I was just specifying because I've noticed a lot of people on this sub have a very narrow idea of "casual sex" that IME doesn't align with what most casual sex actually is.

Most women engage in casual sex. Yes, but not necessarily random ONS with strangers they just met. Women choose the hottest person available for casual sex. Eh, not really. Women hook up with the guy who's attractive and initiates and escalates. She needs to be attracted to him but he doesn't have to be the hottest guy in the room. Women settle for a less attractive man as the hottest man can't marry all the women he slept with. Not necessarily and a lot of women marry men they initially hooked …

If you feel like a guy is going to look down on you for being an "average solipsistic American" because you've never been out of the country then you're probably just going to pass.

Yeah. Women tend to make up narratives and fill in blanks in our minds.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 05:54 PM

Think of job listings, women don't typically apply unless they hit 90% of the demands. Men apply from 50% and up. Women think (Well...most of them), that if you have a demand on your profile, that this is almost completely set in stone, because for them it fucking is. This is an interesting point.

I won't deny that this guy's height probably has something to do with why he's getting NO matches, but yes personally I am intimidated by very fit/active people like this. I would be suspicious of a guy like that pursuing me.

These days it's just due to me not really putting myself in situations that are conducive to getting male attention. When I was younger, I was thin but with a very plain face and a generally gangly/awkward look about me. Combine that with having much prettier friends, and a socially awkward demeanor and body language that often came across as bitchy/aloof/standoffish, plus terrible fashion sense, and I didn't get a lot of male attention.

Thanks! Here is a reply to the guy's post saying it's a porn addiction, and that's not the only reply like that. I think the difference in the types of replies is due mostly to the fact that the male OP specifically requested responses from women who are into this. Obviously they are going to respond positively.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/22 01:29 AM
13

Well, the tone and context of the OPs is different. The first is a person saying their partner likes it, they don't, and it's causing problems in their relationship. The second is specifically asking women who like it why they like it. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it, he's just curious what the appeal is. So it's not a 1:1 comparison and there's obviously going to be some selection bias on the second post. But even then, skimming the second post I see a lot of replies saying it's indic…

It's the city where liberals from other parts of Texas tend to move. It also has a lot of coastal transplants, and large tech and entertainment industries which tend to lean liberal. Plus several universities including a public Ivy. Plus, it's a very young city. Once people marry and have kids they rush to the suburbs. The counties north and west of Austin are some of the reddest in the state. That said, all the major cities in Texas are blue, as major cities tend to be.

Nah that's lame. Clubs aren't really my scene either but I like people who can have fun whatever the situation. If you're going to go out with you friends and be a pouty sourpuss all night then just stay home. That person wouldn't appeal to me at all.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 01:07 AM

To some degree yes. Men's desire for more more more is insatiable, men are always going to be "sexually unsatisfied" unless they're banging a rotating cast of 19 year olds willing to fulfill their every sexual whim. But I know what I want is unrealistic. Like I said elsewhere, as long as he can watch porn in private, not let me find out and not make it my problem, that's all I ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 12:30 AM

I'm skinnyfat
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 12:11 AM

Yes. Edit: Go without whatever this specific kink is. Not go without sex in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 12:01 AM

Then the question you need to ask is "what is the definition of monogamy," the answer to which is "a sexually and emotionally exclusive relationship." Porn violates that because it is seeking out sexual gratification from other people, thus, not exclusive. Like I said, it's not technically cheating, but it's very much skirting the line.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 12:01 AM
8

Family formation, bonding, intimacy without fear of STDs, paternal certainty, etc. Depends on the couple, people do it for lots of reasons. No one's saying you have to commit to monogamy if you don't want to. But if you do, you can't be shocked and horrified that the other person expects you to be monogamous and is hurt when you skirt the boundaries.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:54 PM
2

That's cute that you think that's a common opinion. Where did I say it's a common opinion? The man doesn't want to lose his house and custody of his children. You forget about guys in those situations? Then I guess he should watch porn on the down low and not let his wife find out. Doesn't seem hard. Biological imperative to breed. Nothing we can do to change that. Having sex with their SO doesn't fulfill that imperative?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:49 PM
11

There's nothing wrong with sexual gratification. In a monogamous relationship, sexual gratification is meant to be sought out with your partner, not people outside of your relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:47 PM
21

Go without, obviously. I don't worship at the altar of "kinks"
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:47 PM

I am of the opinion that women should put out often whether they're in the mood or not, so your assumptions about that are wrong. But if she's not putting out, then leave. Why stay in an ungratifying relationship and jerk off to porn? It doesn't make any sense. You could be single, jerking off to porn, and looking for someone else to have sex with. But this is beside the point anyway because men don't just watch porn when they're unsatisfied. Lots of men have plenty of sex in their relationships…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:27 PM
19

This is a stupid analogy. If being in a relationship with you means she's going to starve to death then she can leave the relationship and find someone who can feed her (why can she get a job and buy her own food in the first place?). It doesn't give her the right to be unfaithful. Likewise, men are welcome to leave an ungratifying relationship and seek gratification elsewhere. But you're not entitled to your SO being fine with your unfaithfulness.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:20 PM
26

I think you have every right to be offended if your girlfriend is letting other men take her out to lunch, regardless of your financial situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:16 PM

You're actively seeking out other women for the purposes of sexual gratification. It might not be "cheating" in a technical sense but it's unfaithful.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 11:08 PM
2

Again, you don't need to be horny to have sex. Men aren't in the mood all the time either. Yes, that's why I said he should put in a good faith effort to get her in the mood, and she should be open to it and take one for the team sometimes. I'm literally advocating for women to have sex even when they're not in the mood. But he should at least TRY to get her in the mood because that will make the encounter more fun for everyone involved. What a tragic way to think about intimacy... It's just the…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 10:17 PM
6

"In the mood" means "horny." Women are female humans with female hormone profiles that create a different sexual response than what males experience. They also have female anatomy that can experience discomfort, pain and injury if not adequately prepared for sex. Initiate cuddling and see how that goes. Why should she initiate cuddling if she's not the one actively wanting it? If he wants sex, HE should initiate, and SHE should be open to his initiation. There's two sides to this equation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 09:57 PM
2

I pretty much echo u/philomexa's exact sentiments. I think having sex regularly is important, and I think given that MOST women have lower/more inconsistent libidos than MOST men, that means the woman will sometimes have to take one for the team. That's not to say the man should just stick in in whenever he wants. But the woman should be open to physical intimacy and do her best to let him get her in the mood. (Of course this also implies that the man has a duty to put in a good faith effort to …

Procedures some women get after they're done having kids to minimize the (appearance of) the effects of pregnancy/childbirth on the body. Usually some combo of boob job/lift, tummy tuck and/or liposuction. It's not something every mom has or anything, it's just called that because it's done to specifically target the areas of the body affected by pregnancy.

20 years? Not many, because most women get married before they're 30. But most of my friends married one of the guys they hooked up with on the "cock carousel," myself included. Several women here are married to high n men. I'm baffled that so many men, including "red pill" men, are suddenly claiming women don't like or want commitment sexually successful men.

I have female friends and know they dated and married. None of them sought out virgins or "low n" men. It also goes against the predominant male narrative on this sub, which is that women try to get commitment from Chad, and when they fail they settle for a low n beta.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/22 08:17 PM

No, there are few things less sexy than a man's foot. A couple years ago there was a Florida Georgia Line song that started with a line that said "Put your pretty feet up on the dash." They did a pop crossover version of the song with a female singer and she sang that line. I thought it was an odd choice because no woman would ever say that to a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/22 06:31 PM

To women, they are not, That doesn't comport with the red pill theory I've heard. RP generally says women want those guys for commitment, but the guys won't commit, so women settle for less sexually successful guys.

Again that's just not my experience at all. People of similar sociosexuality tend to pair up. And there's a lot of numbers between 1-2 and 100... My son was a pretty bad sleeper for the first few months and required a lot of rocking and soothing to get to sleep. Sometimes we would put him in the car and drive around or push him around in his stroller to get him to go to sleep. I thought that was rough until I spent time with my niece who is two months older than him. That child does not sleep, at all. Until very recently (she's a year old this month), she slept in 20-30 minute bursts and was super fussy in between unless someone was activ…

That's why I said "as we know it," meaning swipe apps. Those came around 2013 or so. OLD existed for a few decades before that but I do think smartphones and swipe apps changed the game a little.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/22 10:45 PM

Yeah I mean OLD as we know it is like ten years old at this point. I know multiple married couples my age who met on apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/22 08:35 PM

Because this sub isn't just about "dating," it's about intersexual dynamics in general, including LTRs and marriages. I personally don't comment much on posts about modern dating and especially OLD because you're right, I'm out of my element on that stuff. Of course that's never stopped childless young men who've never been in a relationship from preaching about marriage, divorce and childrearing...

One of my college profs used to say that one of the best days of your life is when you get your first paycheck with a comma. I still spend like a poor person even though we're pretty comfortable now. If I'm not saving at least as much as I'm spending I start to get anxious. I'm pretty sure I have epigenetic economic anxiety from hearing my grandmother's stories about growing up poor and homeless.

Most of the long-term marriages I've been close enough to observe have been happy at times and unhappy at times. The trick to staying together is not expecting to be happy all the time. Also, IMO, a lot of people use their marriage as a scapegoat for the general stressors of life and aging.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/22 04:20 PM

Marriage was non negotiable for me, so I wouldn't date a man who didn't ever want to get married. But aside from that, people can make their own decisions and it's none of my business.

It would depend on the guy who's asking, what his specific flaws and challenges are, and the woman he's trying to pursue. The most general advice I could give without knowing that would be to just...ask her out and see what happens. If he's really nervous, maybe ask her to a low stakes group hang like a bbq/tailgate/happy hour first and then try to pivot to a one on one hangout/date from there.

I'm saying sex is a defining feature of a romantic relationship, just like the capacity for receiving visual input is a defining feature of the eye. That individual outliers exist doesn't negate the rule. Ultimately romantic relationships are for mating and childrearing. Asexuals, homosexuals etc. are aberrations (just a fac…

I'm a "Trumper" and I'm married to a "brown" person (I've never actually met a hispanic person in my life who calls themselves "brown," but I digress). My husband and his "brown" family voted for Trump. Race had nothing to do with why I or anyone in my or my husband's family voted for Trump. You are projecting your obsession with race onto everyone else.

Ok? That's not my point. A woman whose bra size starts with 40 has a 40 inch rib cage. She is FAT. The size of her breasts is a separate factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 06:49 PM
0

I know that's what he means but a bra size of 40 doesn't indicate big breasts, it indicates a big rib cage. Pamela Anderson has a 30 inch rib cage and DD boobs. A woman with a 40 inch rib cage is fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 05:48 PM

You don't understand how bra sizes work. The number doesn't indicate the size of the breasts.

Uhhhh??? I thought men were more open to casual sex... How does this negate male LOVE being possessive? Casual sex isn't love. As soon as he has feelings for her he doesn't want her having sex with anyone else. Men don't even like the idea of the woman they love having sex with other men BEFORE him. Female love is also possessive but it manifests in different ways. Men are very SEXUALLY possessive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 03:49 AM

It's the cervix stretching that hurts, once the baby's head and shoulders are out of the cervix the rest slips right out. It doesn't spend much time in the actual vagina. But also if you have an epidural you won't feel much of anything for the worst parts. They had to turn my epidural down for the last hour or so because the doctor thought I would push more effectively if I could feel something. 25-40 lbs is considered normal/healthy weight gain for a pregnancy for a non-obese woman. I'm not sure how they could reliably study that since nonmarital relationships aren't really recorded in any official way. But in my extensive observation of single moms most were in a relationship with the dad when the baby was born.

I have to mentally move on from the last person before I can be interested in someone else. I never moved on quickly from relationships. Usually I spent a lot of time with my friends after a breakup rather than seeking new relationship prospects.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/22 02:49 AM

It has never come up in any of my relationships and until I came to this sub I never realized this was something people thought about so much. If a guy asked I would be honest, I don't think I have anything to hide, but it's not information I'd volunteer either because I assume a guy doesn't want to hear about previous guys I've fucked in any capacity. It would never occur to me to bring it up.

can you people not read the title? It says creampie or cuckold fetish ... not creampie fetish and cuckold fetish That one? Yes I saw it. I don't see what it has to do with my comment. I'm just addressing the "creampie fetish" part.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 10:49 PM

The idea that "creampie" is a fetish is endlessly hilarious to me. It's literally the most basic, natural sex act that exists.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 06:28 PM

My understanding is that a lot of the more common types of FGM involve cutting off the outer labia, which IMO is even more mild than male circumcision (although I don't condone that either obviously)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 06:24 PM

It really isn't. You just pull back the skin, it's not hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 05:23 PM

Usually fathers feel much more strongly about it than mothers do, and a lot of women feel like as a woman they shouldn't have as much of a say in a male-specific issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 05:07 PM
9

It's a cultural practice with a long and storied history in the US going back to the puritans, and there's a lot of misinformation out there about hygiene and health benefits. I think it's on its way out though, almost none of the women my age I know who have sons got them circumcised.

I'll be damned.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/22 04:20 PM

I have a son. He is not circumcised. My husband is also not circumcised. I'm not an activist or anything but I think circumcision is pretty fucked up. You're slicing off a part of your newborn baby for literally no reason. Frankly I don't know how any mother could do it. Now that I've had a baby, even if I wanted to I don't think I would have had it in me to hand him off to have that done to him.

No. I don't like the idea of either of us having a child we have nothing to do with or don't even know exists, and I don't like the idea of my kids having a half sibling they don't know/don't know about. I love troubleshooting and solving problems. The issue for me is that a lot of times I don't have the physical strength to do what's needed to fix the issue. For example I'm driving a rental car right now and the other day on the way to work I stopped for gas and the gas door lever didn't work. So I googled it and I found a YouTube video of someone opening the door from the inside by popping out this plastic piece inside the trunk, disengaging the locking mechanism by hand and pushing the door o…

/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/22 04:24 PM

Basically for me there is a discernable pattern in the guys I'm attracted to. That pattern is my "type." It's not totally exclusive, I deviate from it sometimes, but more often than not the guys I'm attracted to will have certain physical characteristics that I'm drawn to. It's not that I pick a physical type and swear off all other guys who don't fit that type. It's that I'm naturally drawn to certain guys and there's a pattern to it.

I think they can be very cool aesthetically and I tend to hang out with the kind of people who have tattoos, but I don't have any myself. I just prefer a more natural look for myself and there's not an image I like enough to want to wear it on my body. As far as attraction goes they are entirely neutral. They don't do anything for me but aren't a turnoff either. I would be hesitant to date a guy who had a lot of visible tattoos just because my family is very conservative and judgmental about it.…

You cannot be legally compelled to undergo a medical test you do not want. So the parents would still have to opt in to the test. It doesn't matter. The birth certificate isn't legal establishment of paternity. If you're married to her, you're the legal father whether the child is biologically yours or not. You have a window to contest legal paternity. If you're not married to her, putting your name on the birth certificate doesn't establish legal paternity, that's done through the courts.

In most states the parents don't sign the birth certificate, I don't know where this myth comes from. A birth certificate is literally just saying "This person exists as of this date/time." The presumed father is listed on the birth certificate if a name is given, but the birth certificate doesn't establish legal paternity. Marriage does, and if the couple isn't married, paternity is established through the courts. For married fathers, there is a window in which paternity can be contested. I bel…

the simple fact of the matter is that most loyal women who have never cheated and have carried your baby for nine months and just went through labor and are busy falling in love with this new child they created with their husbands are going to see a paternity test as a slap in the face. It is what it is. Again, I understand the male perspective here and am sympathetic to it. But this is just reality. You possibly got a source for the higher percentage? I'm quite interested in this subject, and the highest estimate I've seen was approx. 1 in 30. I'm too lazy to go looking for sources but I have noticed before in these conversations that "dad is mistaken about paternity" is often conflated with "child is mistaken about paternity." There are tons of children being raised by men who aren't their real dads, the dad knows but the child doesn't. (Adoptions, stepdad situations where the child was ve…

/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/22 05:46 PM
11

But individuals would still have to opt into the test is my point. If it was done automatically by default, that would be different, but at least in the US that isn't how it works, you have to sign off on everything. So it would always come up and most women would want to opt out.

Men can DNA test the kid at any time without the mother's knowledge or permission. Why does it need to be mandated? No tests or procedures are mandated at birth, you have to opt in to all of them. So this would add the DNA test to opt-in procedures, and it would lead to a lot of arguments between the mom and dad about whether they should opt into this test or not. I think all of this advice is fine (except that last one -- women don't have to "accept" sharing a man, being alone is always an option). But this advice needs to also be tempered with advice about how the woman gets what she wants from the man. Yes, offer something to his life, cook for him, clean for him, make his life easier -- but only after he's shown investment in you. Don't do those things for any old swinging dick that comes around. Right. None of the people I've blocked were blocked for "disagreeing" with me, they're blocked because they are bad faith shit stirrers who are just here to insult people. No, I understand how it works, I don't think you do. Blocking keeps the blocker from seeing the blockee's comments. It doesn't keep other people from seeing them. So unless you think OPs will be keeping a list of potential dissenters and preemptively blocking those people before they get a chance to reply, then those dissenters will still get to reply to the OP. Your experience of Twitter is different from mine, I guess. I debate on there every day and I haven't been blocked yet by anyone yet that I know of. And the only accounts I block are bots and trolls. Quite the contrary, I've been on the internet for a very very very long time, which is why I don't see this being a problem because it's not a problem on literally every other website that has this feature What Reddit is implementing is literally just a block feature like every other platform has. What it had before wasn't a block feature, it was a "hide" feature, and not a very good one at that. Calling it a block feature was a misnomer and I've been saying that forever. How? Are you suggesting that they will predict who's going to disagree with their post and preemptively block those people? Because otherwise, people who dissent would have to comment on the OP, and then OP could block them, but those comments would still be there for everyone else to engage with. It's already against the rules for OP not to engage with comments on their post so as long as mods continue to enforce that rule there's not an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 02:47 AM

I think keeping an idiot around who you can dunk on like a strawman is still within the lines of an echo chamber. You do this by not blocking that person. If you block them you can't dunk on them.

The new block feature works exactly how blocking works on every other website. There are still lively debates on Twitter and discord. Can we at least just give it a chance and see if the new feature causes problems before we go starting petitions and throwing bitchfits about it?

I guess I just can't imagine that many people being that big of fucking losers. I'm not really sure how to separate it. I mean, I want to look in the mirror and not be grossed out by my body, but am I only grossed out by my body because I know other people will be grossed out by it? How can you know? But I also work out for health reasons. I feel better, mentally and physically, when I'm physically active. I'm stuck with my body for the rest of my life so I want to take care of it so that it will feel good to exist in.

I just find PIV to be a more vulnerable position, more intimidating physically and psychologically. I have always been very paranoid about getting pregnant so that is probably a factor. PIV makes me very self conscious and nervous in a way other sex acts just don't. As for "effort and energy," I mean, if I'm with a guy and we're vibing and I'm turned on then I'm excited to please him. I'm not like "ugh, time to punch the clock at the dick sucking factory." It's fun. I'm not thinking about it in …

To me, a blow job is pretty much just like making out. I don't find it more intimate or more effort than sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 06:35 PM

It takes me a while to feel comfortable and relaxed enough for PIV with a new partner. It has always been a gradual escalation from making out to "fooling around" (blow jobs/fingering) to PIV sex. Some guys I never got to the point of having PIV sex with them. I didn't really think of it as "foreplay" because we were both having orgasms. I don't see PIV as the be all end all I guess.

Statistics like this bug me a little bit. Something has to be the leading cause of death, and for the most part, young people don't die of natural causes. That leaves things like suicide, homicide, accidents and drug overdoses. Women are less prone to suicide, heavy drug use and reckless behavior than men. That pretty much just leaves homicide. So it's not really surprising but it also doesn't mean that any given woman is in much danger of being murdered by her partner. Honestly, the fact that t…

He is right. The vagina is squishy tissue made of the same stuff as the inside of your cheek. It is not a rigid, hollow structure like the anus which can be permanently stretched. It's a big blob of tissue that gives to accommodate whatever's inserted inside of it and then goes back to its original shape once it's done. It behaves more like a liquid or gel in that way. The feeling of "tightness" that's often attributed to the vagina is actually the pelvic floor muscles. These can become weak and…

Yeah, I anticipated a delay in getting the parts, but that hasn't even been the issue. They only ordered the parts yesterday. Up until now the problem has been getting corporate to approve the warranty claim. The service department can't do anything -- order parts or even run the proper diagnostics -- until they get approval from corporate, which took a month and a half. Now the wait for the parts begins and who knows how long that will be.

Yeah it really sucks because until all of this happened this was by far my favorite car I've ever had. But the whole experience has soured me on Kia as a company in general. Sometimes it has nothing to do with not being a good enough partner but just two people not wanting the same things out of life. At 6 months babies are a tiny bit more independent. They can usually sit up, hold their heads up, entertain themselves somewhat, sleep for longer stretches, hold a bottle and feed themselves, etc. Obviously they still need tons of hands-on care but it's not as taxing as caring for a newborn. Also they can eat some solid foods and a lot of breastfeeding moms start weaning around that time. Also, a lot of daycares won't take infants younger than six months.

Well if you have a bidet there shouldn't be shit left behind. The towel would just be for drying. Honestly I just got a bidet recently and I hadn't thought of reusable towels but I have to say the idea appeals to me because I find that toilet paper doesn't really get the job done.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 04:50 PM

I already do all of these. I don't see how it's any more high maintenance than using disposable stuff. If anything it's less high maintenance because I buy paper towels way less often. And I just have three containers under the sink for trash, compost and recycling. Not hard. I draw the line at reusable toilet towels, cloth diapers and menstrual cups though. I'm still team disposable on that stuff.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/22 08:56 PM
8

Yes it's more validating, more fun, more exciting, more arousing, and just generally more in keeping with how female sexuality works. I don't doubt that women have more options on Tinder. But it's not a numbers game for women. My doubt is that she's more likely to hook up with a hotter guy on Tinder, especially because women generally aren't intrigued or aroused by still photos of men. Tinder cuts out like 90% of what women find attractive and arousing. She's more likely to get that from a guy a…

16

Ok, if that's true (and I have my doubts but I'll grant it for the sake of discussion), it's because women like to be approached and pursued. The way Tinder works does not align with female sexuality. Most women don't go out to bars and clubs specifically looking to have sex. They're open to it, but they're not "on the prowl." They're just out having fun and drinking and vibing, and if a guy approaches that they click with they might go home with him. A guy being "hot" is just one part of the eq…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/22 01:28 PM

That didn't answer my question at all. I'm talking about the men, not the women. You've set up a dichotomy between "guys on tinder" and "guys at the bar." I'm asking why you seem to think that A, these are different sets of guys, and B, that the guys on tinder would be any hotter than the ones at the bar. If according to you, hot women hang out at bars and are easier to pick up there, why wouldn't hot guys go to the bar?

I am married so I am speaking in the past tense here. I never really did structured "dating." I always dated guys I knew peripherally through my social circle. Usually what would happen is I would see him a lot at group hangouts, parties, bars and the like and start crushing on him from afar and basically find ways to be around him more and get his attention until A, he made a move, or B, my crush wore off and I didn't care anymore. This is how I got 3/4 of my boyfriends; the other I met on Tumb…

At their best, romantic relationships are like a combination of every other relationship -- lover, friend, family. Other categories of relationship can't really do that because there will always be at least one component missing.

Enthusiasm isn't technique but I don't think it's always necessarily reflective of attraction either. Some women are more timid in bed for reasons that have more to do with them and their comfort level and self esteem than their attraction to the guy.

They don't for the most part. A lot of women swipe and never actually meet up with anyone. The ones who do meet up usually get drinks or smoke and hang out and then hook up if they're feeling his vibe, they don't just show up on Chad's porch and fuck him. I used to have two male roommates who were active on Tinder and had girls over from Tinder all the time. They didn't always close the deal. I'm not saying what you're describing never happens, but it's rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/22 04:32 PM

That’s only a thing for low tier jobs. High paid corporate work has health insurance, pays enough to quickly get rid of your student loans and plenty of paid vacation. Even lower tier white collar jobs and public sector jobs have this. In fact, any employer with over 50 employees is required to provide health insurance.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/22 04:08 PM

Yeah cat haters are weird. Introverted sensing is the dominant function of ISFJ (this is my type) and ISTJ. It tends to deal with internal sensations, memory, routine and familiarity. Whereas extroverted sensing tends to deal with external sensations, physicality and sensual experiences. Si users tend to be highly conscientious, organized, good employees, good household managers but not necessarily leaders. They're generally also not as "warm" as Se users. The first response in this thread goes into a lot of detail about …

The S stands for sensing but every type has two judging functions and two perceiving functions, alternating introverted and extroverted. xNxJs always have Ni (introverted intuition) and Se (extroverted sensing) somewhere in their stack. An INTJ for example has Ni Te Fi Se. An INFJ has Ni Fe Ti Se. SJ types actually don't have extroverted sensing at all, they have introverted sensing as either their first or second function. SPs have extroverted sensing. You need to read up more on cognitive func…

Most weddings are planned a year or two in advance and you can't really predict your period that accurately that far in advance. I've known brides who were on their period on their wedding day. I guess if you're that worried about it you could go on the pill and time it in such a way that you won't be bleeding on that day.

Well, I'm not denying that women sleep around. What I mean is that sleeping with a guy isn't a "win" for women, it's not what they're competing for. Locking down an attractive man is what women are competing for. Women aren't jealous of the girl who's fucked a lot of guys, even hot guys, they're jealous of the girl with a hot/cool/high status boyfriend or husband. In my observation women don't wait until they're older to pursue relationships. Most women have a series of boyfriends throughout the…

I know the joke is "hurr hurr lights off starfish missionary" but there are a lot of things you can do past that that imo don't cross the line into "kink." Is dirty talk kink? Is a slap on the ass kink? Biting/scratching? Hair pulling? Where is the line between kink and something you just do in the heat of the moment because it feels good?

/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 09:00 PM

Yeah. I hand wash mine with mild soap but I think it's just the trapped moisture and general irritation from the fabric. My skin is very sensitive. I'm also not sure if the masks are 100% cotton which is pretty much all I wear because other fabrics irritate my skin.

I've been dealing with an eczema outbreak on my nose, chin and lips ever since I flew home for Christmas. My brothers were allowed to do all kinds of things I wasn't (go out of state to work summer jobs, go on road trips and to concerts with friends, have friends of the opposite sex over). So from my perspective that seemed like favoritism in favor of them. I just don't want to be the one initiating and escalating.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 10:20 PM

My sexuality is pretty much entirely responsive. I don't need a lot of dominance in that I need him to be rough and aggressive (again, too much of that would just scare me away) but I need him to set the pace and lead the encounter. Otherwise sex would literally just never happen because I'm not going to be the one escalating. "Training" a guy to lead is an oxymoron. It would be a complete turnoff.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 10:09 PM

Something gross about his body that wasn't evident before Doesn't want to "lead" in bed (although this would probably be filtered for prior to actual sex) Too rough/aggressive in a way that hurts or frightens me Doesn't take his time on foreplay (but again, most likely I wouldn't get to the point of having sex with him if this were the case) Kinks/fetishes that gross me out

The stigma has been removed from online dating for years. Maybe not from Tinder specifically (although even that's arguable imo), but there are tons of other, more relationship-oriented OLD platforms. u/Murphysmongoose is correct -- at the end of the day, OLD just doesn't mesh with how female attraction works. That doesn't mean women won't use it or find partners with it, but it's never going to be their ideal method. And you're never going to be able to assure that everyone on the app is there …

/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 06:22 PM
3

Well personally I tend to agree with others in this thread who say that "promiscuity" is a set of behaviors rather than something a person is or isn't. You can be promiscuous at one point in your life and monogamous at another point. It just depends on your behavior at those junctures. At best we could say that the 24-year-old is currently promiscuous whereas the 80-year-old was promiscuous in the past but not anymore (assuming the 80-year-old racked up that number when they were young, which is…

So you're saying there's no way for a non-patriarchal society to exist at all? It seems like you've created a tautology by defining an "equal" society as one in which Chad and incels are valued equally, which kind of makes your question impossible to answer. Is the modern west a patriarchy? Because I don't think so and that's the society I'm describing.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 06:08 PM
6

...yes, that's what I'm saying? In patriarchal societies all men are superior to all women (in status/social hierarchy), so women don't have to focus on it as much. In a liberated society, men aren't superior to women by default, so women have to be more ruthless in their pursuit of hypergamy. In a patriarchal society, incel and Chad might not be equally valuable, but they're both above a woman. In a liberated society, the incel is not only less valuable than Chad, he's less valuable than the wo…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 06:04 PM

It's the opposite. In a patriarchal society, men are "above" women just by virtue of being men. In a liberated/egalitarian society, women are more openly hypergamous based on other factors.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 05:57 PM

Women very rarely get this deal. They get married to a guy who slept around in his youth and then they work and bring in income just like their husband does. A girl with traditional values who's a virgin in her 20s will not want to support a stay at home husband. You can keep bleating about equality or you can accept that fact and adjust your expectations.

This is weird to me. The 80 year old probably racked up most or all of their count before 25 because people tend to pair off with a permanent (or semi-permanent) partner by their mid-20s. They've just been alive longer.

I don't know why it's so unbelievable that people in relationships have time to waste on the internet like everybody else.

It is what happened, I was one of the people who started it. You can go look at it now, it was active for a while. Obviously not as active as PPD because it was a much smaller sub, but we had a few threads every day. didn't offer anything more than what people already could get on PPD. Wrong, we explicitly allowed topics that were banned on PPD, such as race and incel discussions, or feminist/MRA issues which at the time were banned here. That was the whole reason we started it, because we wante…

Women aren't stimulated by still, contextless photos of men. We need to see a man in action, how he carries himself, how he takes up space, how he interacts with us and other people and the physical world. That's what turns women on. It's just how our sexuality works. I met my husband at a bar through mutual friends and I was obsessed with him from the moment I saw him. We were in each other's social orbit for a year before we hooked up and started dating, and during that year I was painfully cr…

A few years ago some of the regulars here started a sub r/battleofthesexes that was supposed to basically be what you described, a place for more broad gender/sex/relationship discussion/debate without the "pill" focus. It was hopping for a month or two but then we got overrun by crazy MRAs and it kind of died.

Sex and relationship dynamics are topics that have been interesting to me since I was a teenager, before I ever even experienced those things. Getting married didn't magically make me lose interest in something that's been one of my primary interests for the majority of my life. I don't understand why it's such a mystery to the men here that women would like discussing these things. What is the primary subject matter of the movies, music, TV, literature women consume? Yes exactly. The scenarios where lethal force is justified AND the victim actually has the time and ability to use the gun are vanishingly few. Especially when we're talking about male perp and female victim. So many people on this sub are ignorant of the size, power and strength differential between men and women. Guns are hardly the "great equalizer" when a man can immobilize you with one hand or knock you out with a single blow before you even have a chance to draw your gun.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/22 05:05 PM

This is such a cope. I grew up with guns, have been shooting since I was 10, own a gun and have my CCL. I absolutely do not have what it takes, psychologically, to shoot someone. I am the type of person who completely freezes up when I panic. I know for a fact that if a man were attacking me with real intent to harm me, I would not be physically capable of drawing my gun and shooting him. Far more women are like me than are not. Sex and relationships have always been one of my primary areas of interest, and this is the best place I've found to discuss them online. Maslow doesn't only address essential life-sustaining needs. The entire point of the pyramid is that there are base needs for survival and higher-order needs to thrive and be fulfilled once base needs are met. No one objects to statements like "children need parental guidance and support" or "greyhounds need room to run" or "I need to do laundry" even though the individuals in question won't literally die without those things. A need is necessary to obtain some goal or outcome. "I need to get an A on this test." Will this person die if they don't get an A? No. But if we hear this statement we can assume that there is some goal (such as maintaining a 4.0 GPA) that necessitates getting an A on the test.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 02:46 PM

This happened with my ex. At first he just told me he wasn't close to his family and didn't really elaborate. After several months he told me that both his parents were in prison and that he was physically and sexually abused as a child by a few different family members and that he spent most of his childhood in foster care. I didn't mind. Obviously that's not something a person wants to share right away with someone they barely know.

IVF is when eggs are removed from the woman, inseminated outside her body and then then the embryos are implanted in her uterus. The egg extraction process is extremely brutal and painful. It's done as a last resort for women who can't get pregnant otherwise. Only a man would glibly suggest that it should be the default method of conceiving.

I agree that the six week ban makes it prohibitively difficult for many women to get abortions, especially since most women won't even find out that they're pregnant until around six weeks. See how easy it is to criticize this law while using precise and accurate language? IME it's about friendships, family and work situations as often as it's about a guy. Never underestimate a woman's ability to be passive aggressive and petty about literally anything. The worst vaguebooker I know is my 86 year old grandmother. I'm pretty sure she's not getting P&D'd.

How would keeping ovaries make things more interesting? Yeah I'm also curious about this lol. I guess the logic is you could still have kids but I'm not sure how artificial insemination would work without an entry point...

Well I can kind of answer this from experience because we couldn't have PIV sex for about six months due to a pregnancy complication. I made sure he was satisfied in other ways. Use your imagination. inb4 "So you think all you're good for is sex!!!!11" No, but sex is a pretty integral part of most relationships, and I think any man who's being honest would be the first to tell you that it can't really be compensated for with non-sex things. Otherwise men would be happy in a dead bedroom in an ot…

It's not unattractive but it's scary. I'd have a hard time dating someone if I worried about them killing themselves every time they got behind the wheel of a car. Edit: Actually upon further reflection I think I would start to be turned off by it eventually. Bad driving comes across as incompetence and I can't be attracted to an incompetent guy.

I started noticing it when I was waiting tables around 15-16. I was an ugly duckling until around that age. When I was in middle school boys my age gave me the kind of mean bullying attention ugly girls get, where they "ask you out" for their friends as a joke. By 15 or 16 I had filled out some and was cuter and started getting attention from older men at work; guys my age still didn't seem to like me. I was very tall, skinny and gangly. One thing older men really like to say to girls who are bu…

I'm 33 and I always thought it was the apparently novel/incorrect meaning (that if person/group A can do a thing, so can person/group B). That's the way I've always heard it used. The other meaning makes sense though. Edit: Actually after learning that gander is the male goose, I don't think your interpretation makes sense at all

I'm female, in my thirties, purple leaning red. I grew up in a working class family in very rural west Texas. My parents got married at 19 and have been married for 45 years out of sheer stubbornness. They were miserable for a lot of those years but they stuck it out. My mom is a child of divorce and she is the only one of her four siblings who never got divorced. My dad's parents were married for 50 something years and my dad only has one brother who is also divorced. So I saw a lot of divorce …

I don't shower every day. On the days I don't shower I wipe down with a wet wash cloth. On the days I shower but don't wash my hair I wear a shower cap and/or use the detachable head to avoid getting my hair wet. I use dry shampoo between washes.

Complimenting someone of the opposite sex can be misconstrued as flirting so people tend not to do it as much as they compliment people of the same sex. Not much more to it than that.

Yeah it was a pretty big controversy at the time. It wasn't really "stolen," it was perfectly legal, but the writer I guess didn't want a major artist recording the song and doing their own interpretation of it. But she ended up working out a deal with Beyonce wherein she (the writer) had a hand in producing the song and was allowed to OK the version that made it on the album and was released as a single. Plus as the songwriter she's getting those Beyonce royalties so I'd say it worked out okay …

Women are more agreeable, conscientious, socially oriented and psychologically inhibited, so they are less "free" in the way that's being contemplated by this song.

Women, on the whole, don't crave sex qua sex the way that men do, and our arousal is generally more responsive and contextual. I have experienced spontaneous arousal occasionally, usually during ovulation, but it was more a desire for an orgasm than a desire for sex per se. I've definitely experienced an intense desire to be penetrated, but never from simply seeing a guy. That feeling usually comes after a lot of foreplay and an orgasm. PIV, for me, ranges from painful to pleasant. It's not an i…

Oh yeah I can understand not wanting to date someone who doesn't stay in one job very long. I agree that's a red flag. I guess I just never associated it with someone who doesn't necessarily work in the same field they got their degree in, since I know a lot of people (mostly liberal arts majors) who have long term careers that are unrelated or tenuously related to their degree. But I see what you're saying for sure.

Female, 33. I lost my virginity at 19 to my boyfriend at the time, after a month or two of dating. He was also 19, a few months younger than me. I had done other stuff with him and with one guy I briefly dated before him, but he was my first PIV partner. He had had two partners before me. We dated for two years.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/21 02:16 AM

I'm curious about your first bullet. Do you just mean you want him to be educated and employed or is it actually important that he works in his degree field? Let's say he has a bachelor's in History and works in real estate - would that be a dealbreaker?

Well, because I don't believe they are men. And it seems clear to me that THEY don't believe they are men, if they're still acting like lesbians for all intents and purposes, and not experiencing dysphoria at the prospect of dating women who are exclusively attracted to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/21 10:11 PM

Maybe. Seems kind of strange though that these "men" would continue to hang out in lesbian spaces and try to date lesbians, if they truly believe themselves to be straight men.

You're a Christian? Anyway that just explains what a patriarch is, which I already knew. It doesn't answer the question of why an interpersonal conflict between two women is the patriarch's business. That passage doesn't mean the husband has to get involved in every conflict between everyone in the house. Yes if he does get involved and he tells her to do something then she should just submit (biblically speaking), I just don't really understand why the husband would want to get involved to begi…

/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/21 07:14 PM

Within ~5 years of my own age Attractive to me Chemistry Gainfully employed and financially responsible No kids No addictions Doesn't smoke tobacco or do hard drugs Someone I can bring home to my family Those are my baseline standards for considering a relationship with someone. Doesn't mean I'd date every guy who meets these criteria or that there aren't other compatibility factors that are important. These are just the bare minimum for me to at least be open to it.

You seem to have your own esoteric rating scale. But yeah sure I agree he could get a woman although I don't agree his base level looks are a 6. I agree that guys who look like this can do well if they're confident, charming, high status etc. But I can't tell any of that from these pictures. All I'm going on is his looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/21 03:56 PM

I think it's fine, people should do whatever helps them get the results they want. Social interaction, sex and dating don't come naturally for everyone so there's nothing wrong with seeking out help and advice. That said, they shouldn't talk about it with the women they date. There's nothing wrong with it in the abstract but no one wants to see how the sausage gets made.

Pretty sure he has some kind of chastity/orgasm denial fetish
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/21 07:45 PM

Yes that's why I said both. You can care about your partner's orgasm and your own. Also you can make her come before sex, with something other than your penis...

same.

Stuffing is cooked inside the bird, dressing is cooked in a separate pan. Also I think dressing tends to have more seasoning and more broth/stock whereas stuffing would be moistened by the juices from the bird.

It's probably difficult for her to achieve orgasm and she doesn't like the pressure of trying every time.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/21 05:47 PM

Because not caring about his own orgasms is weird. That's different from a guy who wants to make you come and also wants to come.
