If you choose the medicine path, you should think of it as your life long career and passion. The other things you mentioned are flexible and allow you to change jobs and work different paths until you figure out what's best for you. Only if you're certain that you want to dedicate your life to medicine should you choose it. Medicine is not a job or a business -- it is a calling.

I agree with you. There is mass hysteria in this subreddit sometimes just like in any other gathering of people. For God's sake, don't take health or legal advice from random people on the internet. Do you actually care if she changes her last name? Or is it that she's not doing something she agreed to that is bothering you?

What are you so angry about that you can't stop being angry at her?

Remember what happened to Ross? Don't do it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
