In addition to being hateful, this seems to be very obviously the writing of a mentally unstable person. Read the first paragraph alone; in six sentences she half-jokingly suggests that shooting men is justified, says that feminism's problem is how much it caters to men, and defines "men" as "women, blokes, anyone fluid enough basically to be in charge". So, by this logic, it is simply authority that defines men and makes them bad? And women who empower themselves are becoming like the evil men?…

It's always great to see people who don't identify as men being objective about these issues. I guess many people use it condescendingly, but my friends and I use it interchangeably with "pal" or "buddy". Laidback kind of tone. I consider myself a dude. This pretty much sums it up. Sometimes my dog will come into the room and I'll be like "Hey dude!"

In California "dude" is used in a gender-neutral fashion pretty often, in a slangy kinda way. I'm used to using it that way, wasn't trying to immediately assume your gender. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the significance of "GamerGate" in this context? Wow, not trying to be rude but I honestly never knew there was such cultural divide over the perception of mace. In the U.S. it is never spoken of as a weapon or "arming" oneself. I mean, I literally bought mine in a package off the shelf. Women are culturally encouraged to own it in the US, so in a sense the "opposite side" are the "armed" ones in the first place. I figured I should point out that it's a good idea for men as well.
