I will say that when I get way too high it's no good, but a little or moderate use helps me relax. It's makes me seem more confident, because I just don't get as "up tight".

Yes we do. Best of luck to you!

Wow, very well said. I hope OP takes what you've written to heart, it is the truth.

That is correct. Ultimately, it's there fault if they make it more than it is. Agree?

Yes it's very common, especially if you're not an asshole too them, and treat them the way human beings should treat each other. As you mentioned, being honest and transparent is what you should do. Although, honesty is double edge sword, honesty is a trait that most women are attracted too. So when you tell the truth, and treat them nicely, their instincts will take over and they will try to persuade you into something you don't want. Or, and probably worse, they create this idea in their head …

Awesome bro!

This is something I know I need to work on. I can see how can be an advantage to tease, it's just not my personality when I first meet someone. But I'll work on it.

Not all buddy, I appreciate the advice.

That makes sense.

I just started reading it. Just got through Ch.2 and it's already hit home. I'm looking forward to this one.

I've absolutely gained some insight from the book, I wanted to gauge what the consensus was here as well. Thanks for comment.

Thanks Chris. When I was reading this book I felt like it was geared to a younger crowd. I'm not young, but I am inexperienced given the circumstances. I live in the south (my whole life), so just out of curiosity, what are the biggest differences you've noticed?

I have not. This is the first book I've read. I'll give Models a go too. Thanks.

That's exactly what I want to see. Thanks for the recommendations. What's great is I completely understand your analogy of Starting Strength. I prefer the 531 or the conjugate system myself. lol

I understand that, and realistically I probably have been too straight forward and not left much on the table. While it does sound more effective, it is not natural for me to joke around or tease. So that's something I will have to work on. Thanks for the response.

Thanks, that makes a lot more sense. Do you have any recommendations on material for your average experienced guy?

Awesome response man. It's really what I'm was looking for. I'm just like everybody else and want to better my chances and game. I wouldn't say i'm natural, I'm a nervous wreck when I first meet a girl. After your explanation though, I will def use some this in my approaches from now on. Again, I don't have much to respond this, you answered my questions and thoughts perfectly. Thanks!

What does AMOG mean? That's what the fuck I'm asking with this post. Obviously this works for you, so I'm going to put a check towards that column and see what others have to say. I do see where you are coming from about being on a shelf. But I'm not saying Oh my God you are so hot! I'm paying her a legit compliment in a serious manner, not in the way of "hey girl, you are sooo sexy". There's a difference right?

This right here.

u/bmw_love is right on. I've always had better luck face to face. But it can be hard to get her alone in a gym. So text would be fine.

I think she wants you to make a move. Don't play games with her. Don't text, don't stick your tongue out, be serious with her for 30 seconds. Look her in the eye and say you want to take her out. Let her know what your intentions are with you presence and words, make sure she know you're not fucking around and want to go on a friend brunch. I've met girls at that gym and cut up with them in the past. It's fun, endorphins are being released, it's a good atmosphere. But when I want to take a girl …

haha. Ass grabs are great, I'm never really prepared for that and regret not acting on those immediately. As far as smiling or eye contact, there is no set time. If they are staring at me then I stare back with a smile or smirk until she looks away or one of makes an approach. If they are looking at you, then they are interested, period. I'm somewhat jealous of your situation in a major metropolis. I spent some time in Hoboken NJ a year ago for work. I was married at the time, but if I wasn't it…

I just wanted to thank you for the James Marshall link. It was great! As I stated before, being newly single and having been only in marriage my entire adult life has blinded me from a few things. So if you have any other videos or advice to check out, please let me know. Thanks again.

I live in the bible belt (deep south, USA), in a average size town. There are plenty of good looking women, actually all over, but many are religious and I hear constantly, "I"m not that type of girl". They are, but they think saying it means having sex later is ok. I'm new to seducing and reddit to be honest. I started following a couple weeks ago, so I don't know a lot of the acronyms and diction that is used here. Like you, I'm older, 28. I try to stay away from dive bars and nightclubs. I en…

Thanks for the link, I will get to that today. The metaphor was great. You don't have to be a douchebag. Nothing about casual sex requires it. This is what I have to accept. I guess I've always viewed casual sex as a douchbag thing. But If a woman wants this, I agree, it is not bad. In the relationships I've had thus far, the girls that have agreed to casual sex, really end up wanting more. Which is on them because I made my intentions clear, but it still bothers me to say "Look this isn't going…

A very good point. Thank you. I do make it clear that to them my situation and what I want, so if they do agree to come back to the house, it's on them. As someone else mentioned, this is something I have to get used too.

Thanks for the reply. There's also nothing wrong with enjoying an ongoing casual-ish relationship with someone while remaining free to see other people as well. I think this what I need to come to terms with. Just like men, I'm sure women want different relationships as well. Also, I do make it clear to them where I am in life and what I want, "A casual relationship". Although, the past two initially agreed to this, it became clear very soon after they wanted more. Again, thanks for the advice.

Reaching goals in the gym can be an ultimate confidence boost. But first, you have to set goals. I used to lift to get bigger muscles (bodybuilding), I would go to the gym 5 days a week and lift stuff. For the past two year I've been lifting for strength (powerlifting). My game has shot through the rough. Hitting goals that I set 2 years ago makes me feel like fucking king kong, not to mention I'be put on a lot muscle, powerlifting. I'm not sub 10% body fat, or have veins in my abs, but I get as…
