Depends. Take Sweden, the model for egalitarianism. It has recently with the best of intentions allowed many refugees and disenfranchised people in and offered them a way into their society. Have they gotten stronger as a result? No, Swedish population has technically increased, but Swedish society is being torn appart because these are poor quality immigrants that have not assimilated (or "converted' as you say) nor do they want to. So the rate and type of immigration matters.

Egalitarians in 2016 get to be egalitarian due to the success of the patriarchy which birthed them. I agree a high birth rate does not equal success or prosperity, but it does help a ton with survival (as long there's not so many that you end up eating all your resources.) Throughout history foreign invasions and sub-replacement fertility have been the main causes of societal collapse. Both problems are helped by a high birth rate.

The egalitarians get outnumbered and lose relevance. The patriarchal culture becomes dominant. Rinse and repeat. I'm not sure how having a higher ratio of "high quality children" (high IQ I guess you mean?) would help. Western culture was built by patriarchy. Egalitarians in 2016 didn't create the enlightenment or win WW2. I agree with you about overpopulation and the sentiment that women are not going back to being subservient if they have a choice. That doesn't change the fact that a patriarchal society, such as Islam, will eventually outbreed our more egalitarian society.

There is no rational argument for a Trump vote. Hillary is bought by foreign donors and will increase the amount of suffering in the middle east. I can't in good conscience vote for her and a vote for a third party would help her win.

Drunk drivers are a bad comparison. A victim of drunk driving cannot be said to have done anything that increases their chance of becoming a victim. You could get hit driving a car or being a pedestrian. It's mostly random.
