2	Denied I have chronic sinusitis and have had surgery for it where they scooped out loads of tissue from my nasal cavity. Cold air does not harbor microbes, but dehumidified dry air from an AC will absolutely dry out mucus in my nostrils and greatly increase my risk of infection from microbes already swarming around in my system from very recently being out in a hot humid densely populated environment.
