0	It is acceptable by society for a woman to say "I'm proud to be a woman!", but it is not particularly acceptable (or at best, favorable) for a man to say "I'm proud to be a man!" Depends on the source of the pride. Having pride in oneself for no reason is sinful as it amounts to arrogance, narcissism, possibly even racism or sexism (having pride in physical characteristics that one didn't choose) But having pride in one's accomplishments or children can be a positive thing.	/r/MensRights	20/03/22 09:58 AM
0	It is acceptable by society for a woman to say "I'm proud to be a woman!", but it is not particularly acceptable (or at best, favorable) for a man to say "I'm proud to be a man!" I believe pride is a sin for a reason. Society currently promotes and encourages female sin, but still maintains high moral expectations of men. This double standard goes to show that society understands what is right and wrong, but selectively chooses who is allowed to commit sin and who isn't. The solution isn't to encourage men to commit sin but instead to criticize women for sinful behavior. Unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon. To summarize my earlier point though, simply manage your expectations. We might be able to take the human out of hate (isolate from hateful communities) but we can't take the hate out of the human. It's an innate trait within humans. 3	Advice Your methods of "dealing with depression" aren't solutions. They're distractions. If you are seriously depressed, seek therapy. If it's just a mild case, ask yourself why you feel that way, the answers are often deep inside us.
