Agreed. ROK is definitely along the lines of Buzzfeed garbage.

Working in retail, I noticed that many parents give their kids snacks when they get whiny or start behaving badly. I get it, sometimes it's easier to shut the kid up and finish your errands. However, this starts a pattern of wanting "comfort food" and emotional eating later on in life. In previous generations, I think this kind of obesity was not around because food was not so convenient and parents were much stricter when it came to bad behavior and didn't negotiate with food

They just don't look nice, that's all I was saying. It's just my preference, I like teddy bear types.

I don't see why that would matter. A true RP man isn't going to talk RP jargon to his lady anyway.

I know that I've settled when I'm dating someone that I don't feel like I have to try to impress or keep things interesting. My ex B and I were together for 2 years and I never "let myself go" or quit being fun in the bedroom. He broke up b/c of his depression but other than that, we had an amazing relationship. My ex J was older, attractive by most standards, more successful but our personalities didn't mesh as well. I definitely felt like I was settling. We got along ok, but there wasn't that …

Yeah, agreed. Jesus was a cool dude and I would happily be Christian if the message was to live by his example. But then you have all the other shit in the Bible about women not speaking in church, women not being allowed to teach men, how they converted people by violent and forceful means, the list goes on. I don't think either pill can consider themselves a Christian really. Red pill is "sexual strategy for men" well, a man living by a Christian doctrine doesn't need sexual strategy because h…

Pretty girls can have low self esteem b/c they know how important their looks are. It makes them hyper aware of any changes or possible chances that another woman might be better looking. Pretty girls are often lacking in intelligent hobbies or achievement. Not because they are stupid, but because when a girl is obviously beautiful, that becomes the focus of her existence and other traits are not often encouraged by parents or developed as she grows older. And I think all women know this is true…

You seriously are saying you would hunt women like animals? That sounds like something a psychopath would say. Wow...I thought men were supposed to be the superior rational ones according to RP theory :/

It's funny that men think the average woman has a group of men just waiting around to give her love, money, and attention LOL That is maybe the top 10-20% of women who are very attractive or loose with the goods. I am a decent looking person for my age and haven't been on a date in almost two years. I can't remember the last time a man went out of his way to be nice to me (not that I expect anything from men). Seriously, the average female does not get as much male attention as RP leads you to b…

The 2nd guy is totally cute before and after. Some of these men look scary, like they might have roid rage. Do the majority of women care if a guy was fat before? No. In fact, we see it is a sign that he's motivated and willing to commit to things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/17 07:12 AM

Nope, we don't wonder. We know you hate us but need us at the same time. The majority of women don't have surgery, fake tits, etc. and even if they do, 99% of the time it's because they are trying to please men!

Most masculine: my ex B. Funny tho, he was definitely also very feminine in some aspects ( wrote poetry, very emotionally open and artistic). What made him masculine: his hands, long dreads and tattoos, Kung fu practice, didn't put up with my bs when I started acting up, he took initiative, I felt safe with him emotionally and physically, and planned dates/surprised me often. Also he was good at buliding things. Sex: awesome best ever. He was spontaneous and could be rough but was also very tend…

I prefer guys around 5 "7-8, I'm only 5"1 and the extreme height difference annoys me and doesn't feel natural. Dated a few tall guys and I just didn't like it for whatever reason. No slim dudes or guys that are ripped. I tend to go for men who are teddy bear types but also have masculine qualties or a strong personality b/c I can be pretty introverted. Past celeb crushes: Vincent D'Onfrio (law and order years) John goodman, vintage Chris Pratt, John Cusack in the early 2000s, Mark Ruffalo. I di…

I wonder how much ethnicity plays a role? I find that Mediterranean men love red or colorful l lipstick (not nude or natural in any way) than your average American white dude. It also seems like men don't know what a lot of makeup is. I can wear a light dusting of powder, mascara and red lip stick and the girl next to me can have contour, foundation, highliter, lipgloss, eyeliner, mascara etc yet it will be nude colors and some man will think I am wearing more than her. So is it that they like l…

I feel you. I was extremely poor growing up and in my 20s. I was pretty, tiny figure, and had nice hair. With minimal makeup and simply clothes, I presented myself much more positively than most of my peers. However, I also had a lazy eye. This negatively affected everything, including job opportunities and finding a future husband. The guy above said "you can't put lipstick on a pig", and I'm sure that many men felt that way when they met me. I actually overheard two guys talking at work say "s…

Healthy diet costs money. When I was poor and in my 20s, there were many times when I only had $50 (sometimes less) per month for food. When you are that hungry, quantity over quality matters. Everything else, I agree with you 100%. Especially when a women is young, they don't need as much makeup or to dress particularly "high class" to attract a man. All my stuff came from the dollar store or Wal-Mart and I looked nice and feminine. When a woman gets older, that's then you start to see the diff…

Brief, but not sparse - 1 paragraph for each section, anything more and you know you've got a boring guy who thinks more words = more interesting. That's never the case. So true! Before I discovered RPW, I was dating a very liberal professor and his profile was an essay. I didn't even make it through the whole thing and it turned out he was a constant complainer and super picky and critical about everything. Thank you for the tips!!!

I told him to call the police when he told me about it the next day, he said no. Also, we all told him she was crazy from the beginning and he chose to ignore it because she was young and cute. He's a grown man and was older than me at the time. You play with fire, you're bound to get burned.

i think the bulk of single mothers are crazy harpy shrews who were fucking a beta who wised up and wanted to leave and then homegirl thought that the baby would keep him around.> Oh yes. I used to live in a small town and that was not uncommon. You'd hear rumors of a certain couple that was going to break up, and then suddenly she's pregnant. And of course, the guy usually stuck around (or tried to) because it would ruin your reputation if everyone knew you just left your kid or she started tell…

I think texting can be fun, especially when you want to be flirty but still might be too shy to do it in person. However, I also think that if you are texting for hour or more or texting everyday, it makes you look low value because it appears that you might be desperate/clingy OR you don't have interesting things going on in your life. Also, texting can trick you into thinking he's invested more than he actually is. I've heard several dating coaches discuss this on youtube, and I definitely thi…

Intent behind the words have even greater power. Actualization has even greater power than those two. Very true. When my pre-RP ex was heading off to work and thought he was going to have a bad day because of call-offs, inventory, etc., I would sit down with him for a quick second and give him a kiss/hug and say "Today is going to be a good day. Time will fly by, and when you get home, XX (insert his favorite meal here) will be ready." I would also make sure to do something cute, like send him a…

Yeah, that is a huge turn off for both sexes. I feel it's so disrespectful and immature. Can't blame anyone for nexting someone who is always reaching for their phone, or laying on the table; as if the world will end if they miss a text or don't post their dinner on instagram!
/r/RedPillWomen13/12/16 09:56 PM

Excellent advice, than you!! I'd also like to add: after you greet him with a hug/kiss, let him decide if he wants to talk to you about his day, or if he needs time to unwind in the bedroom/study alone for a bit. Some men unwind by venting about their job, others like to forget it once they get home and just relax in solitude before dinner

Sounds like he's using you, and embracing TRP from a more Machiavellian attitude. He reads you like a book, sees your low confidence and takes advantage. When he abuses his power by making you pay for his shipping (what a loser), he manages to convince you that you are a bad person if you don't. You need to run as far away from this creep as you can. Go into monk mode, get counseling, work on your girl game, and learn to say no. He might me an asshole, but you are not ready for a relationship.

I love old shows, but I do feel like we really aren't seeing how the average family lived. Rose colored glasses and all. At that time, many of those men came back from WW2 with PTSD, drug or alcohol addictions, etc. Many wives had such pressure to be the perfect housewife and suffered abuse in silence. I think many women also felt guilty about wanting to do things outside the home, for themselves. That being said, I think having loving guidance, a clean & well organized home, good meals, and a c…

Emotional openness and expression is attractive. However, it must be tempered with time, trust, and the ability to sall the ship under stormy seas. If he starts telling me about his issues on date 2, or if he loses his shit when something goes wrong and throws fits, cries, holds on to anger for unreasonable amounts of time, that is unattractive. Stoicism is unattractive to me, don't want a robot

I am surprised to say that I actually agree with this. I dated a man who thought of himself as alpha, however in my eyes he was immature. He rarely showed emotions other than anger, and did not know how to be vulnerable or have intimate moments of emotional bonding.

This seems like a recipe for heartbreak. I know it's tempting to use your opportunity of house sitting to sleep with him, but I think you need to wait. You said: "He SEEMS to really like me". No, just stop. You need to know what his intentions are, especially if there's a chance you are the rebound girl. Which is a possibility since you said he was just in a relationship before you guys starting spending more time together.

Awesome list! I know that a scalp massage or a shoulder rub can do wonders for a person's attitude, even if it's only a 3 min quickie. Also, some men really like their ears rubbed and gently tugging on during massage.

New here waves What a great post!! When I started adapting to a RPW mindset, the biggest thing I noticed was how differently men treated me as I made the initial changes to my appearance. Glad to see you put that first. As much as women may not want to deal with it, appearance is very important to men, especially when they haven't had a chance to get to know you yet. If you are single, take off the jeans, messy bun, and yoga pants. Put on a skirt, a swipe of lipstick, and smile. Little changes, …

That's basically was I was going to do; try to encourage a date but not be aggressive. It only happened last Monday, hopefully he will forgive my error and realize that I really do like him. Maybe more homemade treats next time I see him :) Thanks for the suggestion!

I realized I should have said that. Perhaps you aren't clearly understanding my point which was that I wanted to try to fix it. Pursuing him by giving out my phone number without him asking is the aggressive, masculine energy I was referring to, not indicating I wanted to see the exhibit. Again, I realize I made a mistake and that I might have completely ruined my chances. I'm human and still learning.

By you approaching him, you will seem easier to obtain... Which will definitely lower your SMV. Funny how that works, eh? I mean, all the women's magazine and crap say otherwise, and there are always outliers of course. Overall, when I looked at my past romantic history realistically, and not clouded by emotions, it hit me on the head that all of the men who say they like when a woman is aggressive, ended with being lazy and not very invested in the relationship.
/r/RedPillWomen11/12/16 03:09 AM

Taking the initiative leaves you in a position in which you are very likely to wonder if he really liked you or was it that you were there and so on. Yup! That was definitely an issue in past relationships; I had done much more work than he had, and was too invested to see that he wasn't as crazy about me.

I'm definitely not tradcon. I've voted Democratic most of my adult life, I support a woman's right to choose, and my spiritual path is pagan. My decision to embrace traditional gender roles in relationships is largely due to the fact that I found myself in a string of unfulfilling relationships. After finding TRP and reading blogs, I slowly applied the principles to my life. The result has been more peace, feeling more sexy, womanly, and men have responded positively to the change in how I treat…

Both or neither. I'm not invested in that argument because I would never lead a man on simply to get money or gifts, and I also don't sleep with men outside of commitment. I'm just tired of feminists saying they want equality, when in reality, they want the freedom to do whatever they please without consequences. If a woman has the freedom to be a "proud slut ", then she have to assume responsibility for her choices, even when they are bad ones (like one night stands with men you meet at a bar a…

No, I don't. It's feminism that is trying to change those laws. I'm saying that if it becomes a crime for a man to lie about his money to get a woman to sleep with him, then it should be a crime for a woman to purposeful pretend she is interested in sex with a man to get free stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/16 10:30 PM
2

Yes, I would say so. If they are trying to change laws around rape to say that a man who lies about his status or income to get women to sleep with him is guilty of a crime, then a woman purposely lying about her romantic/sexually intentions to get money/gifts should also be guilty of fraud.

I've never played dumb; however I have good success with my innocent kitten persona (more playful kitten, not sex kitten. Think Audrey Hepburn). What I do is alter my way to speaking to the man, asking him questions, seeking validation of my knowledge on a topic. It shows my intelligence but still lets him be the more experienced one, if that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/16 06:07 AM

That's the sad truth. I know girls in their early 20s, still having first date sex with guys and wondering "does he like me?" Unfreaking believable.

Funny, the guy I'm seeing now is way more alpha than my past boyfriends, even though I'm older and this is when women supposed go for BB. I think it depends on the woman's self esteem and how much she takes care of her looks, how evident her feminine her energy is, etc. However, I know we are speaking in generalizations here, so I mostly agree with you even if it's not my current experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 07:12 PM

Did you force yourself logically to become attracted to him? I guess that was my main question, it wasn't really about alpha/beta traits, it was more concerning physical appearance. Women are often told to lower their standards for what they find attractive, yet I don't see how that can work. You can logic your way into being sexually aroused.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 07:03 PM
2

Yeah, I guess I was thinking about physical attraction. Can you force yourself to "fall in love with" or have a good marriage and sex life with someone you find unappealing? Probably not and for people to give that advice is dumb, IMHO.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 07:00 PM
2

Long term, it probably is worth it for women to settle, which most of them did historically, but getting over that hump of actually doing it is hard. That's probably true, especially if she was very attractive at one time, and didn't use it to help secure her future, and now is approchaing (or has hit) the wall.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 06:58 PM

Makes sense. Sometimes I think this happens with women naturally, depending on her life experiences. I find myself being attracted to men that are very different than my previous few boyfriends, but I've also changed as a person and starting taking better care of my appearance. I'm 35 but looking better than I did at 25. My standards aren't higher now, just different. I find different things attractive, both physically and character-wise. I don't think you can force it though, it has no come fro…

I do acknowledge that the idea is a bit hypocritical. However, if you are assuming that men are more stimulated visually than women, then maybe it's "fair" and makes sense. That's why I'm thinking it's a stupid idea for both men and women, red pill or not.

Furthermore, just because she doesn't want a spergatron doesn't mean she needs 6'10" alpha CEO male model... that's yet another projection. Your average woman doesn't have the astronomical standards that guys on the internet claim, they're normalizing failure. Agreed. I think most women want to be attracted to their man, but don't require tall, buff, etc. Most women I know are with average guys lookwise, and have varying degrees of other alpha traits that are attractive and add to "the whole pac…

What could work, I think, is a clear message that would encompass all of society and promote the idea of... I dunno, looksmatching. That makes sense, seems fair. There's definitely room to "be realistic" instead of completely lowering your standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 06:28 PM
2

Yeah, it's unfair to your partner to completely let yourself go to hell in a hand basket. People expect/accept general changes in appearance over time due to aging, not that you are gonna gain 100 lbs in 2 years. I do agree that it also a waste to time to try to convince men that they are "wrong" for being attracted to certain traits in women. They can spew all the rhetoric they want, but at the end of the day, a man doesn't get a boner by using logical thought and feminist theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 06:24 PM
1

Some lifespan developmental psych theories could explain this. Many people "do things in reverse" or "out of order" and go back to "recreate" certain eras of their life that they missed out on. Having the disability makes you an exception, again I think most people are dealing in generalization because it describes the majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 06:16 PM

Yup. I thought I could beat it with a guy I met. His photos looked somewhat different that who he was in person. We talked on the phone for 2 weeks, there was such a strong connection but in person, I just didn't find him attractive, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself that I was being too picky. We kissed, I felt nothing, he was upset that I ended it but it really seemed pointless. Friends gave advice, told me I was being critical. It just didn't feel...natural.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/16 06:08 PM

Yeh...there are always exceptions to the rule. Good for you if you are happier now. The majority of people don't have your experience. The majority of teens do grow out of their punk/goth/emo phases, being super activists, feeling like "nobody understands them" etc. The majority of people eventually become comfortable with who they are (religion, sex/gender orientation), and don't use it as the primary way they identify themselves as a human, and don't go around lecturing people 24/7.

I do find it strange that people don't see the more extreme Tumblr ''SJW'' beliefs for what they are: teenage angst, which they'll grow out of soon enough. Agreed. I'm 35, and used to consider myself a feminist, though nowhere near as extreme as SJWs. I grew out of a lot of my beliefs, partly because I realized they were hindering more than helping me in life. Swingers and poly people on the other hand have a different motivation. For them it's not "this is so wrong" + "why the fuck am I so worthless", but rather "it's just sex". They also fuck other chicks, still fuck their wife, have threesomes and participate in gang bangs. Well, to be fair there is a big difference between swing and poly lifestyle.
