Back-lit display along with E-ink is amazing for reading. I read for hours on my Kindle Paperwhite without any eye fatigue, which is a notable problem with tablets and phones. Also, the lighting is perfect for falling asleep, it doesn’t affect your melatonin like other screens so you can turn off all the lights and read yourself into a deep slumber. I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy, and have trouble finding new books. A lot of the time you’ll see crappy paranormal urban fantasy smut mixed in with seriously written books. It’s almost impossible to filter on Amazon. Half the shit features shirtless muscular men holding sexy women.
