I think that all of those fights are incredibly (obviously) regressive and counter to a lot of feminist theory, and I have never really seen evidence of the women's rights organizations that support them. 2	"Man Up" I don't know. I often feel as if MRA interpret being pro-women's rights as being anti-men's rights when I don't interpret any conflict. For instance, I find it difficult to interpret increased protections for women against domestic violence as, in principle, a bad thing. I think that while it is absolutely unjust that men's voices as victims of domestic abuse are being curbed, that has nothing to do with whether increased protections against abuse for women is a bad thing. 2	Men no longer own their bodies - the government does. Men can no longer give away their sperm to help childless couples who can't afford costly clinics. Literally you must register your sperm with the government. Women must do things the federal government's way as well. You can't be a rogue egg donor. 1	So I admitted to being an MRA to some colleagues last night... Just to be nitpicky: There is a difference between dependence on the no true scotsman argument, and the constant need to respond to straw man arguments. I think the situation you described belongs to the later. Ultimately, I don't think we see eye to eye about what the feminist movement is (and I don't think I've been conditioned into any opinion).
