Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueGradual incompetence. I want to gradually get incompetent at 'forced' mentorings and phase these relationships out or do the minimum required. I'll seek out the men I want to mentor. Its just that this woman is going to work with me on a tight-deadlined project. | /r/MGTOW | 09/04/18 12:19 AM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueThis will require practice, but is ultimately the right solution. | /r/MGTOW | 09/04/18 12:10 AM
FatalityWhy? Are you saying mathematical talent can be cultivated? | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 10:53 PM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueI cant without risking to appear 'not a team player'. I like some of the subtler solutions suggested here. It would have been a non-issue a few years ago. But no longer. | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 10:43 PM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueNo, not at this stage. I have a visible history of mentoring men (and women). I'm good at it and I like it. In my observation so far, tech mentoring is wasted on women -- they are in general not interested in tech, only in management. Additionally mentoring relationships have become perilous. So why do it? I could hamster and justify investing in women. But I'm going with the simpler answer of 'no, I dont want to do it any longer.' Hope that makes sense. | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 07:25 PM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueThis is my long term plan. Women are generally terrified of startups because they cant hide. | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 05:07 AM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueExcept that 'standing up' has consequences. I'll be branded as misogynist for refusing to invest my time into a potentially thankless person. I'm done seizing opportunities. There is little incentive to look like a real pro, when she will be promoted over her more qualified colleagues, just to meet diversity quotas. | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 05:02 AM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueI dont know your background and you presented your point in a levelheaded manner -- I'll neither downvote nor upvote you. I used to think along your lines until three years ago. Yet, the conclusions on this sub are consistent, often linked to published evidence and reproducible. This has led me to rethink my position on this (and other) matters. Time and again, it is proven that women are incapable of honor, gratefulness and are generally looking to use impressionable men to promote themselves i… | /r/MGTOW | 08/04/18 04:58 AM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueThat I'm doing currently, but I've been asked to 'involve' her in an upcoming project. Dont think I can dodge that. | /r/MGTOW | 07/04/18 10:51 PM
Seeking advice: How to avoid mentoring female colleagueHaha, I wish. I asked this question in a specific context. but Im also formulating a personal strategy for the future. I think feminists will push back against the Pence rule. Mark my words. I think men will have to adopt subtlety. But I'll do everything I can to avoid being alone with her. Webex record every single conversation, not meet with her outside of scheduled meetings, etc. | /r/MGTOW | 07/04/18 10:46 PM
