He’s going out of his way to tell men to go their own way. That’s his way of going his own way.

That’s sad how thirsty men are when they see boobs, ass, and legs. Maybe answer their greetings with: “What is MGTOW?”
/r/MGTOW214/07/21 05:09 PM
2

Why is “discouraging” women from coming forward such a bad thing? Maybe it helps the women to think rationally about her accusations and not jump the gun and claim rape when there was no rape and it was a bad experience with a guy. Just because something is difficult doesn’t mean it’s a barrier. Women seem to want to go through life on recruit level difficulty.

How is this not a good thing? Imagine how much space is available if there’s only a billion people on Earth.

There really is no point to it all. We’re all just passing time until we expire. You can have moments of fun and achievements in the meantime, which can offset the pain, boredom, and loneliness. People make it a point to build legacies and leaving it with their children to continue. But for mgtow, you often don’t have that drive.

It’s to garner sympathy, attention, and claim victim status, which removes all responsibility on their actions.

It’s not necessarily about “bad”, but rather the association with the male’s strength and dominance. They equate bad with feeling more secure, protected, elevated in status, and having stronger children when they are with these men.

I think I need to balance my physical, mental, and emotional well being. My activities hopefully help me achieve this balance. These include: hiking, reading, to learn and for enjoyment, listening to music, watching movies, learning about Stoicism, and yoga.

I don’t understand these people. They were in debt, and they were going to bring another child into existence. Also, their lifestyle was for appearances and unsustainable. You mentioned they paid daycare, but why do that when the wife was making nothing with her MLM job.

If you live for “love”, it’s a life that you basically have to chase someone else for validation and self worth. It’s an emotional state of being, and it’s not rational. You will never be content living that type of life. So my advice is find other things to do with your life. Work on small goals, and complete those, then work on bigger goals, and complete those and so on. A life where you don’t work for anything is a life where one don’t feel the desire to live. So addressing the question about…

I think these days, they talk less about gender equality, and more about putting women in power, having women’s voices heard, more representation of women, women this and that. They don’t even hide the fact that they focus solely on women’s rights and access to resources. They just don’t care about being diplomatic. They are pushy and standoffish in their attitudes to get their way.

The basic idea is freedom and independence as a man. That only comes from not being in a relationship, developing financial stability, focusing on personal goals. The other aspects of MGTOW is the understanding of male/female dynamics and interactions in today’s society, and the rational means to navigate these issues.

I wouldn’t have a clue if these are the cause. You can try to alter your diet to see if it can relieve symptoms of IBS and GERD. Is your BMI in the normal range? I don’t have any other suggestions. I hope you figure this out.

No medical background, but can this be related to anxiety, stress, diet, lifestyle? Are there things you can try to change like eating a diet with more vegetables, less processed foods, and less sugar and salt. What about regular physical activity like walking, yoga? Do you have relaxation time every day? Do you have hobbies? Do you get about 7 hours of sleep a night, and is it deep sleep? Would you consider doing meditation?

I usually pay more for goods/products because that often means they last longer and I have more enjoyment using the items. I subscribe to the idea of buying it for life (bifl). Very few things fit this criteria nowadays, because companies want disposable products that will require consumers to repurchase to have ongoing income stream. Things like cookware, metal tools, some furniture, etc are bifl.

You’re not going to see a lot of buy in for meditation because it’s not easy and requires patience and spending time in solitude without distractions. There’s too much stimulation available to people these days. Many choose the continual stimulation over something that takes away that stimulation.

Could also turn it around on women. The way she treats herself is the way she will treat you. Is she fat? This shows she has no self discipline and struggles with making health choices. She will not cook for you, and if she does cook it’s unhealthy foods.

Try the ice method. Have some ice or a gel compress in the freezer. When you feel that sexual urge, get the ice bag or gel compress and place it over your manly parts. It will give your system a shock. You won’t be able to get aroused when your mind thinks you’re in survival mode rather than reproductive mode. I have no idea if there’s any science to this. There are both anecdotal and statistical evidence that show that most women behave the same. If they are not behaving like other women, it’s only due to opportunity and timing. You have a large sample from thousands of men on this site. That makes it relevant to take into account. Finally, take Briffault’s Law as the truth about male female relationships.

I believe they do it as a way of fighting against society norms of how to behave like a women. They do the opposite. Society wants women to be proper, restrained, classy, soft spoken, etc. They think this makes women a slave of the patriarchy, so instead they act loud, crass, unhinged, rebellious, flamboyant, get tattoos, dye their hairs a bright nontraditional color. Also, it’s for attention, which to women is like power and status.

I think every guy needs to try to abstain at least for a period of time, once in a while, to practice this self discipline. It improves mental well being.

Women only see men as tools and instruments for their utility. Women see each other as emotional beings, whereas they often strip away the emotions from the man and see him as an object. That’s why they are attracted to his height, his resources, his job, etc. They only see a man by what value he brings to women.

Try to tune out the noise of other people’s expectations of you. It’ll never lead you to feel contentment when you’re living for someone else and not for you. You don’t need a big purpose to feel happy, you need mini purposes (goals). It’s actually easier to be a man in this society when you live for yourself. Never believe the "till death do us part" bit in marriage vows. Women get teary eyed about this, because it's only one way. They love when a man gives up his life for them, but not the other way around. When a misfortune happens to the guy, she's ready to bolt before the ink is dry.

Having a wife does not mean you have a companion or someone that likes your companionship. This false belief is what still leads men to marry or cohabitate with a woman. Unfortunately, this belief is shattered and men kill themselves believing they are the problem, rather than the belief itself. It’s worse to be with someone who in time despises you than to be alone. There are times I felt lonely when I am in a crowd, which means surrounding yourself with people doesn’t mean you can’t be lonely …

Alpha and beta are vague terms which I know people like to throw around, but I don’t find them useful. I think the guys you talk about see relations with females more as transactional. I don’t think most of them are conscious of this. There’s no emotional investment in a transaction. A girl satisfies a want in the moment, and there is no long term need to be with her. They see short term rather than long term. I think there are some advantages to seeing relations with the opposite sex as transac…

It’s just your animal brain listening to its programming to mate and produce offsprings to carry on your genetic material. Read the Selfish Gene. Look at your emotions as signaling that you need to obey your internal program. You’re human and have the luxury to think rationally. You can override your animal brain with discipline. Listening to your animal brain will make you a slave to its endless callings.

I believe when a woman says “I love you” she is selecting the man as a suitable mate to have children with and for her long term security. When a man says “I love you” he is doing so in a self sacrificing manner, where he selects the woman he would make sacrifices for and to give up his life if needed.

I believe lack of control is one aspect of becoming traumatized. The most important aspect though is one’s perception of the event. If one allows their fear of death, injury, or harm to overpower themselves, they will experience traumatization. However, if one sees the event with indifference then it will not produce traumatization.

He was expecting society to care, and was crushed by the truth it doesn’t. If only he had the perspective that it doesn’t matter if society or other people care about or validate you, as long as you care about yourself that’s what matters. Regret usually arise from not taking action versus taking action, i.e. being in a position to do something but choosing not to do it leads to regret. If you don’t spend time, you might regret it more than if you do spend the time with them. Maybe you are basing your decision on fear? That is if you spend more time with them you’ll have more attachment, and the attachment makes the suffering worse when they are gone. Much of CBT borrows from Stoicism, where it’s not what happens that affects us emotionally, but our interpretation of what happens. I think CBT has real value and everyone should be taught it. You can't be angry at a rock for being a rock. That would be silly. Same thing with being angry at a female for their nature. You get nowhere with trying to change something you have no control over. We may do things that may not be true to what we value, but what we've been taught we should value. I agree that we should bring these values to our conscious and think through them rationally to see if we believe them and that they fit. If we change what we value, we change how we live.

A mistake can have a negative short term value, but a positive long term value. The statements do not advocate for not making mistakes. Think of a relationship break up. One cannot nail down this definition specifically, since it will vary with people. It is also a combination of quantitative and qualitative attributes. The important thing about value is that it's not measured in the short term, but you have to also look at it from a longer term perspective. Calories in, calories out is a bit over-simplistic and not accurate. This makes it seem like a calorie is just a calorie, whether it’s a calorie of ice cream or a calorie of fruit, that they are the same. But, we know that ice cream and fruit have different hormonal effects on the body, so a calorie of ice cream is worse to our body than a calorie of fruit.

I counsel men and women, and I can’t tell you how often I hear from women who don’t know what to do with their downtime. I often find way more women with no hobbies or interests outside of hanging out with friends. You can also just look on YouTube and see the diversity of channels run by male versus female content creators. For women, it’s basically fashion, pets, health, beauty in the majority of channels. With men , it runs such a wide range of topics. Women just are not as curious and wantin…

How can you say you've never been "weak" once in your life? Are you perfect? I stand by my statement that if you're human, you have been weak at some point in your life. This weakness can be defined as mental weakness, where you should and could have done something, but you chose not to do it out of fear or embarrassment. It can also be failing to do what is morally right and ethical. Weakness can also be in different degrees, and it's not black or white.

We're all weak at one point or another in our lives. Attaching a label of weak and strong is meaningless. We fluctuate between weak to finding ourselves and becoming strong. Regardless of how we get there, if we seek to be better and work at it, those who are weak will become strong.

Meaningful is when something meets your values and gives you purpose and satisfaction. I think people get mentally bogged down in overthinking “meaning” and “purpose” to life. Ultimately, you are the person who defines how you want to live your life and what you want to pursue. Think of living a content and meaningful life as part art and part science. You identified some aspects of this goal which include watching movies, playing video games, etc. Now you have to figure out how much of this you need in your life, and what else you want to do with your time. Goals are essentially tools that we use to construct a meaningful life. We know we are living a meaningful life, when we try to work towards our goals.

I define love as the act and ongoing process of minimization of suffering. This definition cuts out the need to see love as part of the mating ritual. It incorporates men's way of loving, which is done through sacrifice, protection, providing resources, and women's way of loving which is nurturing, care giving, and raising children. So of course a mother can love her child, because that's part of her biological programming. The robot would also show love by incorporating and blending both aspect…

We all cross the finish line at some point, but it's how we attempt the journey that is what makes the effort meaningful. We can't control our birth, but we can control a sizeable portion of our lives between then and our death. So if you're already existing, why not make this existence worthwhile? I believe a life of challenges, struggles, and difficulties, is much more satisfying than a completely comfortable life.

Sure try it out for a week. Then keep pushing yourself more frequently. You may ask why do this? Well, a life that is without struggle is not as fulfilling. Yes, you can enjoy life to a certain degree and for a limited amount of time. Don't spend too long getting comfortable though because that leads to complacency, weakness, and stagnation. As others alluded to, it's mainly in the diet. Processed food are tasty and are high in sugar, and affect our hormones and metabolism more than natural foods. People also overeat because they can't control themselves. People eat not for nourishment but to satisfy emotions.

Starting people off with antidepressants is not helpful. It addresses the symptoms but doesn't fix the other problems, which are varied from poor stress management, overwhelmed with situational life stressors, lacking skills of communication or coping with others, addiction, distorted perceptions of reality, poor self esteem or worth, etc.. They should try counselling at least.

What you put in your body is what you get out. Cut out all processed and added sugar. Try it out for 30 days. Give intermittent fasting a try. You don't need to eat 3 meals a day. I've cut down to one meal and snack eat within a 4 hour daily window. Putting your body into this state heightens all your senses including your cognitive abilities. Try mindfulness exercises. Acceptance. Learn to accept that she is who she is. Being angry doesn't change her. She has her own set of beliefs which conflict with yours. She feels she is right and you are wrong. You probably will never convince her to your line of reasoning. If you can't change her then change yourself. Change how you react or not react to her. However, if you're wealthy, famous, and powerful, she can overlook the lack of education because status trumps education. Sometimes, having money is not enough unless you flaunt it in a way that explicitly tells the world you're wealthy. A lot of those people are retarded and shouldn't give advice. They "think" with their emotions and when logic and reason are presented, they have no comeback or they dismiss it. The reason men continue to associate with women is from a desire and instinct to mate. That's basically all women have to offer, because their companionship is temporary and they are not interesting to talk to. Men put up with women's bs, and can barely tolerate it for long. Once looks fade, women sour up, and are intolerable to be around due to their complaining and nagging. You're seeing through the outward facade, and that's not easy to do, because you have to reject and surpress your primal …

Body positivity means you get all the positive attention without making any effort. Why would a woman stop eating ice cream and chocolates or bother working out, when they get the same benefits of not doing it? They get rewarded either way. Love is an evolutionary adaptation. People create strong bonds that we call love, romantic love, caring, etc to procreate, protect and secure offspring's chance of survival. As we all know love is most strong during the honeymoon phase because it's the imprinting and bonding stage. It continues on at a strong level when the offsprings are still young and vulnerable. A woman has a vested interest in maintaining a man's love for her because he will offer resources and protection. After the offspri…

Expectations will differ with each person. It's not for me to say what is a "normal" expectation to have. Some guys could put up with a girl who emotionally abuses and yells at him, but then she gives him companionship and sex. Other guys will not put up with this. I think each man needs to make that choice for himself. It's important for you to know yourself really well to come up with what works for you in life. One good rule is that expectations need to be flexible, not rigid, and not so far …

I do counselling and I tell people to carefully examine their expectations and see if their expectations are reasonable or if they are harmful/unhelpful. Let's look at some of your expectations: 1) I don't expect a girl to control her emotions. Her being abusive is a result of this. 2) I expect I should be more in control of my emotions than my girl. Me being able to handle abuse is a result of this. 3) I am expected to be a father. If so, I must have children at all costs. 4) I expect to endure…

A simple explanation of cognitive behavioral therapy is that our emotions are not dictated by things that happen to us in life, but by our perceptions of them. If someone says a mean thing to you, it hurts much more and lasts much longer depending on how you perceive it. You often can't change the situations that happen to you in life, but you can change how you think about them. As a counselor, I constantly use CBT with clients who have anxiety, depression, substance abuse, stress, etc. It puts…

Actually, Antisocial PD and BPD are not characterized by narcissism. That is another different personality disorder. Global lack of empathy is also not a criteria of BPD, but it is with Antisocial PD. The poor emotional regulation can be seen as intense anger or emotional instability, which are criteria for BPD. Destructive behavior can be in both Antisocial PD and BPD. For BPD that destructiveness can be also in the form of self harm. A BPD individual can have traits of narcissism, but so can a…

BPD is not the female version of Antisocial Personality Disorder. Both male and female can be diagnosed with either. Yes, men are more likely to be diagnosed with ASPD and women with BPD. There is a gender bias with diagnosis. It may be due to the fact that men and women express their feelings differently. In men emotional dysregulation may be more likely to be displayed as physical aggression, and in women it's verbal and emotional aggression. Men are also more likely to be charged for their be…

I'm glad you're getting treatment. Hopefully your therapist is using components of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). This is an evidenced based approach. As someone who works in the mental health field I kindly urge you to only consider the DSM-5 criteria for BPD. That list below associates charateristics to BPD which may be there in someone who's diagnosed with the disorder, but it's not exclusive or indicative of BPD. The misleading information only adds to the fear and stigma of BPD. Also, one shouldn't diagnose unless one has the qualifications to do so. BPD people are not "broken" or "will never be healed". Men can be diagnosed with BPD too. People seem to think it's only women. Good question, and I upvote you for that. Women can help you become a good person. I don't doubt that at all. For instance, they always remind you to share with others and consider others' needs. That's a good human trait. However, women don't really know what masculinity is like. They view it through their own feminine lens and define it in a way that meet their own needs. They will help you become a better man to serve their own needs. Just ask a woman what she wants in a man and you get gener…

I threw out an arbitrary number of 25, but it's more about the number of relationships and sexual partners they have than age. It's probably better to have a woman at 18 than at 25 just because their relationship and sexual partner count are low or maybe but highly unlikely they are still a virgin. After 25 you tend to get women who are more jaded, demanding, and their expectations become unrealistic.

Part of mindfulness is to stop with all the complaining (nonjudgement practice). When you notice yourself complaining, acknowledge it, accept whatever you're complaining about as it is, then do something about it if you can. I think it's important for men to understand where these emotions come from. It's men's primal instinct to mate and to pair bond. Once men know that these emotions come from instincts they need to cognitively restructure their thinking. They need to challenge the idea that they are a failure as a man if they don't mate. Trying to fight or calm these instincts is not easy, especially for young men. It's much easier for men who's been burnt by women to get through these emotions. The advices are g…

Welcome. There's no misogyny allowed here as the sidebar noted. The main MGTOW forum gets very tiring with almost every post about woman and they stew and celebrate in the hateful groupthink. Pointing out the misogyny only gets you shut down really quick or have abuse hurled at you. They have a 'you're either with us or you're against us' mentality. So no point in staying there, just walk away. Let them do what they want. You have no responsibility to change their minds. You take care of yoursel…

Even though you don’t know the husband and are not a part of his contract with his wife, nor do you feel you “owe” him anything, your actions do not promote well-being but cause harm. That’s the point of moral responsibility. Sure, you get to satiate your sexual desire, but you also cause suffering from the fallout of their marriage. Morals are guidelines on how we should interact with others. They are not laws with punishment. Morals are responsibilities that influence your decisions, but you’r…

Responsibility and freedom are not the same. Responsibility influences freedom, but you're still able to choose your course of action. You're free to say anything you want but you're morally responsible for what you say to others. Your choice has an impact on others, which cannot be denied. We're arguing over ownership of your choices, which clearly you do not agree with.

I disagree that what I'm doing is white knighting. If I were to put the blame, it would be over 90% on her. Yet even then you would still accuse me of defending her? Like I keep pointing out, we're looking at your actions not hers. From what you're saying I think you're saying you have 0% of the blame. I disagree and think it shouldn't be 0%. Moral responsibility always filters outwards to how our actions affect others. You can't examine it in a vacuum. As soon as you participate in any interact…

You're morally responsible for your own actions, which is what I've been saying all along. I never asserted that you bear any responsibility for her actions, just your own. Where did I white knight and defended her actions? Again, it goes back to the disagreement of your moral responsibility. If there's nothing further I'll just leave it at that because we have ideological differences that can't be resolved.
/r/MGTOW228/01/18 09:34 PM

I don't think I'm missing your point. I have noted that we do not agree on moral responsibilities. It doesn't matter if you are not part of their contract. You think a man in this situation has no moral responsibility and I disagree and say that he does have responsibility. As adults we are responsible for our actions. In this situation it's in your direct control to participate or not in her infidelity. Whether she does it with you or someone else is not really the issue here, it's that you cho…

Your conclusions from your reasoning are a stretch. I'm not sure why you cannot stay on topic rather than shift the discussion to the broader context of morality in our daily lives. Yes, if we go far enough, we're all culpable for propagating suffering in this world through consumerism. That doesn't mean we can't move to reduce suffering as much as we can. Let's go back to this topic. I'm arguing that you can't willy nilly stick it in a married woman and shrug your shoulders and absolve yourself…
/r/MGTOW228/01/18 08:59 PM

You're a willing participant in her infidelity. I don't know how clear it can be stated than that. It would be dishonest to shed yourself of all responsibility for your actions in this situation. I think it also comes down to moral responsibilities, which we both clearly disagree upon.

Yes, fair point, a person is not property. But what are your thoughts on the moral grounds of engaging with a cheating married woman? Do you see anything wrong with that?

That doesn't make it right for you to cheat on his wife. If you take someone's wallet that was left in his car and he left the door unlocked as well as parked in a unsafe place, you are responsible for the theft. Certainly the guy was stupid for leaving his wallet, not locking the door, and parking in a bad area, but it doesn't dissolve you of responsibility. Being a man going his own way has to include being accountable and taking responsibility for his choices, whether they are "good", "bad" o…

The intended message of this post is good, i.e. don't marry for your own sake, but it's not surprising there would be disagreement about the behaviour displayed here, i.e. engaged in discussion (to eventually perhaps sleep) with married women who are open to cheating on their husbands. Also it seems there is some enabling of this cheating to take place. Without attacking OP, let me voice my opinions. Obviously in the end you each go your own way, but I think you have to hold yourself accountable…

Best to be indifferent to their talk. Accept that it's not your responsibility to change their minds. Also, it's not you stuck in this silly situation. That guy needs to learn on his own and break free himself. Essentially, you're just an observer here. Nothing positive can come from you giving your opinion. You're outnumbered anyways and girls usually stick together when they feel their nature is being attacked.

They are hypersensitive to anyone questioning their groupthink. It's an echo chamber of misogyny, anti-feminism, cuck shaming, and red pill rage. Most women are fake because they don't want to put in the effort to look better. They have all these beauty products and enhancement procedures done which hardly requires them to break a sweat. They just show up with money. The way men see self improvement is that they have to put effort into it long term. The mentality is 'no sacrifice, no gain.' It's also about taking responsibility, which is something women naturally leave up to the man. If things go well then she gets the benefit. If things do not she can just blame the guy. By not saying no she is in a win-win situation, where it's always the guys fault if things don't turn out well. Edit: On an additional note, women are more agreeable by nature. They seek cooperation and compromise in how they handle things.

Society is fucked because too many men are still plugged in and chained to their programming. It's a good thing if more guys unplugged. The less men that women have at their control the less power they have. You're still holding onto an ideal that doesn't exist or never will exist. Men can't keep thinking women are equal because women will seek to gain more. It's their nature. Being equal is not enough for them. This ideal of equality is keeping men from seeing the light.

The entire activity of picking up or chasing after women is about receiving validation. You can dress it up as male bonding, skill building, etc, but at it's core you really are just putting yourself in front of women to be judged whether they see you as good enough to sleep with. Women who will never grow fat. I'll drink to that.

Yes. That's why men go to war and women stay at home on the domestic front like it's been for eons. It's the ultimate expression of love that the man has to offer. And also it's been hard wired into our brains that it's the best strategy for passing on the genes to the next generation.

Not one person calling her out on her bitch behaviour. First reply was endorsing it, from another bitch no less.

Well said. I learned this the hard way last year. Not gonna let that happen in 2018.

Dang it's like the beginning of a war of the sexes. Once men invent sex bots it's game over, and women will raise the white panties.

Awesome read and some interesting observations and predictions. I'm pretty sure some of your predictions will come true. I feel like MGTOW men have this eagle eye clarity into the state of today's relationship while BP men are still walking around with blind folds on.

That's because there is the perception that a man must sacrifice for a woman to be considered a gentleman. If he leaves he is breaking that unwritten rule and neglecting his duties.

The game show is rigged for women to benefit.

I'd take what that article says with a grain of salt. My take why men take longer to recover is because of how much they put into the relationship compared to the women. 80 percent of men put more effort into relationships than women. In the 20 percent of men, these are the Chads and Tyrones. When this happens it is the women who get heart broken because she was putting more effort into the relationship.

I would. First I would picture her nagging me for the rest of my life. That would be all it took.

"You get to decide whether or not to be the frog or the scorpion." I'm sure you mean frog or turtle. Great post. i was thinking along the same lines as you about accepting women's nature for what it is, and rather than try to change it, change yourself so you are a stronger person.

For this picture, the caption smack her in the pussy might not be a bad idea.

On a slightly different tangent, but hopefully somehow tied in to my initial post, I think we've been spoon fed the statement that relationships fail in large part due to communication problems. I think this is mainly false and is propagated by the feminist movement. I'll explain this point later. If we assume that men and women love differently, then relationships fail because the men are not performing their natural programmed roles and similarly the women are not performing their roles. For e…

It's a system designed so that women can increasingly reap the benefits of men's sacrifices without putting much of their own effort into anything, like reciprocating caring and respecting men.

Haha. He knows what's up. He's seen the matrix, and likely went MGTOW after that.

He was in "love." Men sacrifice themselves when they are in love. It's how men show love. It's one of our greatest strengths and weaknesses rolled into one.

I think the success of this movie appeals to women's idea of love. Women feel that when a man loves her he would sacrifice himself for her happiness, even if this means giving his life, which is the biggest sacrifice of all. When he does this the woman knows he must love her a lot! Awww! I do believe this idea of love is inherently programmed into the male psyche. Intuitively I feel this is true to some extent when you look at what men would do for love. For women, they show their love by nurtur…

I agree with you to a certain extent about feminized men in today's society, but tell me why you have to eat meat to be manly or masculine? Can you show any studies on how being vegan would affect testosterone levels? I think people who are vegan are concerned about inflicting unnecessary suffering on other sentient beings rather than do it because it's "trendy."

Women have a primal wiring for tall men in the same way men are wired for big breasts. I try not to blame women for this programming because if I can't wire myself to not be attracted to big breasts, why should I expect women to do so.

If men had the ability to give birth, they would beat women at that too. "Anesthetics? Freak no. I'm not a pu$$y!"

This is one of those cases where if you question the girl's responsibility to cover herself, you're immediately labelled as supporting "rape culture" by feminists. Most guys will restrain from touching a girl's tits even if they are bared and in his face, but why chance the few whose primal urges overwhelm their senses and just go for it? It's like walking into a bear cage bare naked with honey smeared all over your body. You don't do that shit.

Same here. Had the same weight lifted when I fully embraced atheism. Not that I really believed in a higher power before. Atheism places emphasis on rational and logical thinking which is also valued in mgtow.

That first sentence bugged me. I had to read it multiple times. The person didn't bother to add in the missing apostrophes and left out the words "in a", which would have made it sound better grammatically.
