No problem at all, I really hope it helps and that the relationships progress in a positive way. My advice for an atheist who is seeking faith would be: find a church and go. Just be there. Meet people. Do the thing. I am an Orthodox Christian and I believe that is the way to go, so I will always advocate seeking out an Orthodox Christian church. I am very against prepping for a split up personally because I think it creates a scarcity mentality and having a "way out" in a marriage shouldnt be coming up unless you have dire feelings....and then you just shouldnt be with that person. But! I do think its good to have a plan for in case your spouse becomes disabled or something. So, food for thought.

Orthodox Christian churches are organized in a patriarchal hierarchy. Whether or not the men in charge are strong leaders by your measure would vary, but that is by definition how Orthodox churches are organized, so you'll never go into an Orthodox parish with female clergy.

Agree. I think you should give the boyfriend or fiance the same treatment you'd give a friend. Appropriate affection, being there for them, maybe help them tidy up or make some food if thats what youd do for a close girlfriend. But treating them like a husband before they are so "for real" blurs the lines between those very different realtionships. Do you have anyone in your life who you can try to watch closely and try to emulate? Any couples with healthy relationships? even if he delegates a task to me he often ends up taking over for me anyway due to this learned helplessness issue I have. Heres a great, concrete starting place. If he delegates a task to you, that's him leading. If you are competent in the thing he asked, just do it properly ("could you write a check for this bill?"). If you're not, then let him know or ask him to teach or help you ("will you hang this 30 lb painting?").

Abortions of black babies has been a huge eye opener to me. In NYC there have been recent years where the number of black babies aborted was larger than the number born. I'd call that a genocide.

I did this after vaginally birthing a 10 lb baby with a head above 99th percentile and never had incontinence and any other issues resolved within a year, though the healing process was definitely more prolonged than it would have been if he had been smaller. I couldnt get in with a pelvic floor specialist PT but the regular PT I saw knew what she was doing. I plan to go after every child.

That makes sense. I worked full time after an 8 week unpaid mat leave for the first year and a half of my childs life (out of necessity) and...would not recommend. My opinion is generally that I dont see why a woman, if she is so inclined, can't work while the kid is at school if their kid or kids go to school outside the home. That is my plan if we don't homeschool.

Hmmm. Does it thaw out all the way? Ive noticed that since i have to cook frozen fish for longer, it tends to come out more tough. Ive never tried to thaw it in the oven.
