if this is genuinely how you feel and you’re not just trying to get a rise out of people then I just feel sorry for anyone who gets involved with you. it’s easy to find NSA hookups, or you could go to a sex worker. there’s no reason to mislead someone just to get laid unless you enjoy doing that to people
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/21 08:03 PM

yes? lol.

it’s fine if that’s what they want, I’m just not looking to be that for my partner. all I want is to not be misled

not a string really, I was with one guy from 14-19 then two days later met my husband and we’ve been together for eleven years. I had a brief period where I hung out with a few people but I can’t even call those dates. admittedly those are the roles my husband has wanted me to fulfill, but I recognize that & I can’t say I haven’t done the same at some point in our relationship. but I think people can change if they want to and most importantly we see each other as our best friend, which is the o…

I could say I’m seeking all that in someone else but I don’t want that. I can work on myself & have a partnership with someone who doesn’t need to fill those roles in my life

I was watching a movie where “the hunt” was described as being a metaphor for love & this reminds me of that. I hate it being compared to this sort of stuff, like killing something, possessing something shouldn’t be what you want with someone. at least that’s how these metaphors for love and dating and sex make me feel, just very uncomfortable. I don’t want to have to pursue someone or vice versa. I can see where they’re coming from, it’s just a mindset I wish folks would distance themselves fro…

the ones I’ve been romantically involved with want a mama, a therapist & a pornstar rolled into one. I can’t forge a meaningful relationship with someone who just sees me as a thing to fill a role(s) in his life. it’s amazing how you don’t exist to them if you don’t want that or don’t want to be used for sex. I’ve been with a woman like that too but see it more in men

whenever I’ve done makeup it’s done to enhance, not to hide. makeup is fun. I take it you’d be able to figure out I don’t have hot pink lips or gold eyelids. I used to like playing dress up as a kid, messing around with makeup gives me that same feeling

not so. my father in law has been doing it 20 years, he says it’s easy as hell. he was balding before and he hated having to wash and style what hair he had left
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 03:34 PM
1

my mom & her sisters love bald men. they just see it as a super manly look. I’m in the long hair camp but I prefer women to men so maybe I like men with feminine traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 03:30 PM

that’s what a lot of people find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 03:27 PM

balding vs bald. I’ve always thought it was better to shave it all off when it starts going. I’ve known a lot of women who are attracted to bald men. just like I’ve known a lot of dudes that love bigger women. there’s someone out there for everyone

my husband cries rarely, but we had adopted these two black cats as kittens from the shelter. their names were Dante and Vincent and they were the best cats with the neatest personalities. one day his dad let Vincent out (they were not outdoor cats at all) and we were gone so we didn’t know about it until we got home late that night. we looked everywhere and couldn’t find him but hoped he’d turn up. the neighbor came the next day and my husband had to go get Vincent’s body out of her back yard. …

it’s pretty normal to be anxious about asking someone out. rejection is a bad feeling. I’ve asked men and women out before and been rejected. you just have to learn to accept it. you’re wrong though if you think that person owes it to you and you feel aggressive about that in one way or another. it’s fine to be bummed but not ok to want to harass or hurt them for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 11:26 PM
1

why do you say that?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 11:22 PM
1

but you seem really concerned about others having babies. are you doing anything yourself to help with this issue you have?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 11:21 PM
1

still, people can do it safely and the risks are well-known.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 11:19 PM
1

so you’re a white supremacist?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 11:19 PM
1

there are enough women who have children and enjoy that. some people have no business raising children. you’re encouraging people to procreate without ever wondering if they’re the people who could give a shit about the child they’d have. senseless breeding for the sake of popping out babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 05:09 PM

that’s not true. with divorce rates being what they are, living with a single parent is pretty common. my parents split. most of my friends’ parents did too. being a good parent doesn’t have anything to do with being married. being a single parent and negligent or abusive to the child comes down to who they are as a person. just bc your parents stay married doesn’t mean they’ll raise their child properly
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 05:07 PM

also, pretty much any pregnancy carries risks. being too old or young, natural issues with the uterus, blood pressure, diabetes. any time you decide to continue a pregnancy there’s always a chance for complications, even if you’re 25 and fit and healthy
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 05:03 PM
1

true but high risk pregnancies these days are pretty well handled. having been pregnant in the last decade, they can manage things even better now than when my mom had us in the 90s. a good OB can manage things safely

but just because that’s my life doesn’t mean others should have to do the same because they’re women.

my mom had me at 39 and my brother at 42. she had my older brother at 25. every woman is different.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 05:08 AM

I think it’s preferable parents stay together but I’ve known people who successfully co parent. just some adults can’t act as such when a divorce happens and then their kids suffer

I don’t know why you’re talking about me that way. I have a husband and two children.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 05:05 AM

it sounds like you know what you want in life and I think that’s great. I’m glad we’re moving away from the societal pressures to have babies and be married to be a functioning adult.

men settle with women as well. it seems pretty mutual a lot of the time. but more and more people seem content with not doing that, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing. you don’t need anyone to be happy
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 03:14 AM

I think most anyone spends a good amount of their time chasing after someone they like and it not working out. and why the IVF thing? that’s really specific lol

women now are marrying for reasons that aren’t for financial stability. when you can be single and support yourself then that changes everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 12:38 AM

it sounds like quarantine has helped you realize you’re not happy with him anymore.

doesn’t this apply to anyone?
