Luke blew up up the death star without his targeting computer in a fighter he'd never flown before, mowed downed hordes of stormtroopers and shot down tie fighters with no training and was able to call his lightsaber to his hand with no force training. Finn succeeds at all kinds of ridiculous stuff he has no experience with - I don't see you getting angry about that. Rey makes mistakes, shows character flaws and fails before she succeeds on multiple occasions during the film - you have just work…

We don't get angry at every positive depiction of a woman in fiction. There's no men's rights angle to a female character possibly - in subjective interpretation of a work of fiction about magic space wizards - being somewhat more competent than her level of training would have lead one to believe.

I don't disagree with you, I'm more of a hugging and learning type myself. But if you are going to post something like "blindly led by false statistics and the scare tactics that i see prevalent in this movement" you should be prepared to back it up.

The British Sitcom Peep Show has an episode (Series 5, episode 28, "Jeremy's Mummy", 23 May 2008) that revolves around the rape of one of the main characters, Mark, by a woman. They call it what it is, but its played for laughs.

Well you need to do what's right for yourself, find some friends with some more consideration/regard for you, and get away from these ugly people. "Standing up to them" would just serve to waste your time/energy on them, they aren't worth it.

What does he think about their behaviour towards you in general? All the stuff you just wrote here? They are basically bullying/harassing you and being incredibly ugly people, ideology completely aside. But yeah your best option is to walk away and ignore these horrible people.

Cassie Jaye has stated that no funding will be used to pay herself. It will all go towards production costs (sound, paying editor, mostly). So far she and her producers's have funded this project out of their own pockets. Her day job is working as an editor. She has no expectations of making any money from this, she's losing money, it's a passion project.

An independent festival in the same city as a famous festival does not a scam make. Implying such is to basically attack the entire independent film festival scene. Hanging on to the coat tails of bigger festivals is fairly standard stuff.
