Late to the party, but a buddy of mine was telling me a story of his dad and a girl his dad was dating. She started beating herself up and then called the cops on him. He figured two could play at that game. Grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed himself. My ENC 1101 Prof refused to even acknowledge that men are at a disadvantage in some areas. I was using custody battles as an example. It was an immediate shut down from her. If I wanted a good grade I had to regurgitate her opinion, and play on me being a minority (although i'm mixed). That's what generally happens when we bring this up.
