Eeuhm that’s only in the U.S... In europe we can get funding. Getting funding is easy for STEM-fields but very hard for the humanities. So here in europe it is the smart thing to do if you are able.

Are interests higher? Because 50 years ago a working man could buy a house and a car. Now you have a working man and woman and you are worse off because you need an additional car. Something must have changed right?

Also the workforce doubled so wages dropped because of competition. How are we living worse then our grandparents when the productivity in a household doubles?

Stricter gun laws mean background checks, mental health checks etc. You can be sure that armed security that protect politicians are all screened for those things. So your argument is false.
