Texting is only for setting dates not to chit chat with strangers Does not apply to women you meet from dating apps. I've lost plenty of potential opportunities following this advice over the years.

If I had common sense I wouldn't be reading this sub 😂

I don't agree with this advice anymore. I texted a girl I matched with in this manner and I got ghosted. You're not a priority to her. I was talking with several guys IRL and they said they text the girls they meet every day.

The bigger thing is this: if you only look in nightlife, dating apps, or random cold approach situations, you may mostly see the women who are most visible, not necessarily the women you’d actually want long term. Unfortunately my lifestyle at this point is set up almost exclusively to meet girls through these avenues. I didn't realize how I could have reshaped my life 5-10 years ago The “girl next door” type is usually met through lifestyle overlap. Friends of friends, hobbies, fitness spaces, …

You're talking in a vague way, it would be nice to know what these observations are as I go out every weekend and notice something is off but can't put my thumb on it. Maybe you know something that will make everything click for me.

What about if you're at a cafe and there's just a woman that looks good sitting there sipping her latte? What if them and a friend came in, and those are the only attractive girls there? Seems as though there's not much you can do in this situation.

It helps when you have to use public transportation every day and run into countless people. Where I live, I work weird hours and need to drive into work so I hardly see anyone. Plus I work around nothing but guys. I've tried to compensate for this by moving to a "walkable" neighborhood, going out to bars in said neighborhood on the weekend and cafes during the week (as I'm doing as I type this). It all seems to be an exercise in futility.

In my case I turn 30 in 3 months so I have the same pool, and I am actively pursuing the 20-25 age bracket because of this. And people say I need to settle down but I have practically no dating experience so it makes everything worse.

And you do that how?

This past weekend I was out and met a girl at a bar who was 21. We hung out maybe 30-45 min total. I told her I was 29 and the vibe shifted. Asked to hold her hand when we we in a crowded part of the bar and she wasn't interested. Later on when I asked for her number she said I'm too old and that she dated someone 9 years older and had a "bad experience"

The root issue is that a guy is not maxed out. You go talk to 100 girls and might be lucky to get a single date if you aren't. Talk to 100 girls somewhat maxed out in attractiveness and aura and things start to look better. I know because I'm not maxed out yet.

Look at all of the guys using Meta glasses on Instagram and TikTok... I'm surprised nobody has posted about that here. It's absolutely wild and has blown up. I wear similar looking glasses myself so now I feel like I can't talk to girls without being labeled a creeper.

Social invisibility has been my life for the past 25 years.

Then there's no other place really, because many clubs are small, male/female dominant, etc. library is though too. But right now I'm in the campus center next to someone but I can't say anything because she's on the phone.

What if you're a minority in a 2 parent minority household born into their culture? No assimilation is needed.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
