I think women who believe these things are embarrassing. Staring at crotches is equally creepy, or not, depending on how the crotch-haver feels about it, not their gender. As for dinner, finances are complicated, but if I'm paying for birth control more effective than condoms, perhaps you could spring for dinner? Touching someone without their consent, much less hitting them, is equally bad for both genders. You can argue that a larger, stronger, more aggressive person doing this to a smaller, w…

If she's willing to move to talk with you, you've just about closed the deal. On the other hand, it gives her a chance to blow you off if she's never going to be interested. Also good.

Lack of involvement in conversation is a problem, as is communication. I hate to say it, but if she were both interested in you and comfortable with herself, she would have something to say sometime. As a non-confrontational person, I'm often the person speaking least in a groups when I disagree or am completely bored with what's going on, but don't want to be rude. Either she is incredibly shy or she thinks you're hot, but not worth talking to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
