| 4 | Flowers and Forges - Never pull back the CurtainBrings to mind a quote from Michaelangelo: "If you knew how much work went into it, you wouldn't call it genius". Be considered a masterpiece by keeping your work and process to yourself. I impress this on my father all the time and do all I can to employ it in my life. I guess it's the artsy way of reminding us to STFU and do your work | /r/TheRedPill | 17/02/18 09:26 PM |
| 3 | Flowers and Forges - Never pull back the CurtainI have been telling my dad this for years. He wants to drag my mom through his thinking process so she'll understand how much work he's putting into things (house remodel, getting into shape, his own psyche for Christ's sake). When he has finished a project that she's had no involvement in, she's genuinely impressed and gives praise. When she's been made to be a part of all the decision making and steps she is just happy the project is done. I think many women are the same way | /r/TheRedPill | 17/02/18 09:23 PM |
