You're providing a very conservative solution to an issue that is understandable. It's like saying that we shouldn't give a kid surgery because he or she was stupid enough to get smacked in the leg with a bat by their abusive parent. That's not legal either, but the most someone can do is provide a fix for that child if the doctor fucks it up. I would not be upset to pay taxes into that.
