Got injured early, failed to accomplish my goals(go Civil Affairs, if not that then become a Warrant Officer), became a liability to my command and fellow soldiers instead of an asset, and outshined the master.

Speaking as a failure in the military, whoever wants to go in needs to have a better motivation than money and benefits

Why pick one when you need both? To elaborate: Fighting is a skill and needs to be honed as such, but physical conditioning(lifting) should be done whether your practice a skill or not

Blue pill - Stuck in the matrix, unable to see reality. Usually because previously learned dogmatic views prevents one from seeing it. Red pill - Views reality for what it is and lives accordingly. Black pill - Feeling hopeless about how reality is and wanting it all torn down

Yeah. Dad died when I was 8. Mom didn't instill much good in me. In fact, I started to notice that if I do the opposite of what she says then I get better results. I fixed it by giving less and less fucks about this and that. Eventually I came across TRP and learned how I had no frame at all. Working on fixing that now.

I agree with this, and to add on to it, use the appropriate exercise to train for your specific sport/event. Speaking as a former soldier, you can sprint your fucking balls off all day long, but if you want to complete a timed 12-mile ruck march in time, you should be rucking.

You could also try Kendo. The vehicle for practical use is there, but like most things in life you gotta make sure the instructor is worth a shit.

Except for junk like Tae Kwon Do...or Hap Ki Do...or any of the Korean Martial Arts really.(I say this as a half-Korean who has practiced both of those arts, as well as some boxing/kickboxing).

This is something that I'm getting my life aligned for. Space could become the next gold rush.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
