You keep saying that she should have stayed because you were having a good time. Would you have left if you weren't having a good time? Could this situation be simply that YOU were fine with hanging out, and SHE was not? It sounds like you are possibly just applying your perspective to her experience. This doesn't sound like hubris or lack of respect.. just a human person who was done interacting with you, and choose to leave.

I live in Utah, and I'm a woman. The situation in Utah is 100% the influence of the LDS Church. The women ARE terrible to each other. It's terrible! The church is literally a patriarchal church, and the women try and "out righteous" each other.

I am a woman....I married my high school sweetheart. We are both 5' 8". I have two sons. They are 5' 8" and 5' 5". My husband and sons have always had members of all sexes attracted to them, and have never felt weird about their height. I have several friends with husbands who are shorter than they are.
