I mean, isn't the first date (or two) supposed to be about getting to know each other and seeing if you are interested in pursuing something more? It seems she's not so much ranting about not having a ton of options as she is frustrated with her friends who seem to be pushing her toward "settling" for someone who would not make her happy.
