I’m currently going through the same thing. My ex posted on some of my of Reddit comments calling me a sexual abuser amongst other things. Not sure if it’s the mods or If she has taken them down herself but I am incredibly terrified on what she will do next. She has that ability to fuck up my life.

If I knew that my cs money is going to towards our daughter then I wouldn’t bat an eye. Hell I wouldn’t even mind giving a thousand a month if I knew it went towards my daughter, but her moms past spending habits and we all know for sure that most women will spend that money on other non-child support related things.

I couldn’t stop her after the end of our hearing. I lawyered up and presented all the evidence I had including her violating standard restraining orders which included that “both parent cannot leave the state with the child” among other things. Judge still gave her sole physical custody despite that.

Honestly, child support alone isn’t what’s bothering. If my child support money went to taking care of our daughter and only our daughter then I would have no problem with that. No violence or abuse took place in our relationship. Our relationship was rocky but it wasn’t the worst. She missed her mom and was homesick after living in California for 5 years. Court gave her physical sole custody and me joint custody. No one is and angel here. We’re bad people for letting this happen to our daughter. She was the mother so the judge to went with it and gave her physical custody. It was as simple as that.

I’m trying my best to stay sane after all this. It’s like getting kicked while you’re down. She leaves with our daughter, gets awarded physical custody moves out of state with her new bf and files for child support on which I know in hell she won’t spend it on helping our daughter. It’s legal extortion and it’s a broken system that needs to be fixed.

She may have been scared of breaking up but she still shouldn’t have hid our daughter from me. No abuse happened during our long term relationship. Her reasoning was simply that she misses her mom and was homesick. Basically she left not for the best of our child but for her selfish reasons.
