I like the plant/child analogy. I explained to someone who used the child as an excuse to ignore their partner with this: Love doesn't turn off like a light switch. If you tell someone that "The moment I found out I was pregnant, everything changed", then you really didn't love that person in the first place. Yiu just wanted something else so much that you gave up on what you had once you got what you wanted. It's lies like this that are so hurtful to many people. That slap jn the face, that rea…

It's really just that simple. Because they want to. But it doesn't seem they want to. They get want they want/need and dispose of the men like used tissues.

Therein lies the problem. A woman has a child, and neglects the person who helped her bring this child to being. They think that once the child is there, that the maintenance of the relationship is no longer necessary. When you buy a car, you have to maintain it or it will break down and fail. Same thing with a relationship. Oil changes, tire rotation, brake pads replacements. But most women don't understand maintenance on a car, so how can we expect them to know how to maintain a relationship.

Ever see Mrs Browns Boys? Mrs Brown is played by a man.

I think in this case, it was referring to them as having thrown enough money at lawyers in order to 'purchase the judgment they desired. I could be wrong.

Usually (although it can vary from state to state) once a child is around 12 or 13, the courts will ask them which nparent they want to stay with. Of course of there are allegations or accusations of abuse, then that's pretty well thrown out the window. Unfortunately, we need more info on this story, as it seems he should have been able to keep her. Or at least have shared custody, especially since he took care of her for so long.

I've only been reading posts here for a couple/few months now, and just learning about it. I hadn't seen the quote used before, or at least not that I recollect. But it does seem quite logical, and a good phrase to describe some of the ideals.

What I find ironic is that when she does something it's just fine, but when the man does the same thing, it's a federal offense. Hypocrite much?

Very observant. I've had that thrown at me a couple times. I may have to mention the immaturity factor to the person who has used it on me.

Which then, some will say something along the lines of 'don't hate the player, hate the game.' Problem is, it seems the women are the ones who have mostly been playing the games; and worse, changing the rules as they go along.

One of the other things I remember, just before the first news item come on the TV in the background... If you listen carefully to the news article, you will find out there was a fire at a prophylactic factory, and helicopters were bringing water from Puget Sound. It's amusing some of the things that are in the background in some movies.

I hadn't seen it used before, not seen a reference to it in the couple months I have been reading articles here. It was something that had been bouncing around in my head. Maybe it means I'm finally accepting the red pill? I'm not fully versed in MGTOW, but I'm learning.

What I find ironic is that 'women' like this can dish it out, but they can't take it.

You're welcome. I'm not totally MGTOW yet, but I am learning, and I am dealing with my own issues and demons. I just want you to know... It does get better. Sometimes not as quickly as we like, and sometimes there are setbacks or issues we never expected. But with what appears to be solid determination on your part, you will rise above, and you will be happier for it. Again, stay strong.

Personally, I feel you are forgetting the one person that cares about you. You. If you didn't care about you, you would allow the pain and depression to take over, you might even contemplate suicide. But because you have stated that you are NOT suicidal, that you are just tired of the shit, that proves you care. Maybe some people might say you care too much. Too much or too little, you care, and that's where it starts. I've been there. It's been 5 years now, but I was basically in the same situa…

I keep thinking of the song "Birth, school, work, death" Don't remember who does it at the moment without a Google search... Alternative, like early to mid 90s.

I think of the line from the Bieber song 'Love Yourself' where he says "my momma don't like you, and she likes everyone."

I dislike the SC animal filters. If I wanted to spend time with an animal, I'd do my dating on the farm.

I have observed, and questioned, this exact same situation. "If you loved me, it doesn't just disappear", but it's more likely what was thought of as love was simply a method for the body/brain to think it was in love until she got what she wanted.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
