The first question you have to ask yourself is what you really want to be with him, and for what reasons. Do you want to be just friends with him because you think he's cool, or because you hope in the future he may change his mind about you? If the former, than go for it, if it works out it works out. If the latter, move on. If you become 'friends' with someone that you can't see as not a potential mate, then every interaction with them will feel a little empty. 1	The ''nice guy'' status. Just do something, anything really, the longer you wait the worse it gets. It sounds like you may have be too hung up on her; but the only thing that I've ever found to break that is to either stop all contact - which isn't always possible, or do something about it and either get rejected or accepted. Other than that, try to reframe yourself. Don't focus on 'she's the most attractive girl I've ever seen', that may end up showing in your approach, may make you appear needy. The difference between someone like you, and someone who seddits mostly for sex, is just having sex. Just ask them out or something. 2	Something to remember for texting. Yea, I think this is the primary reason lots here say to use text just as a tool to set up dates. Keep conversation to a minimum. I personally think that's completely optional, but you do have to keep what OP said in mind... In text you can't read body language, or tone of voice... 2	Rule 1: Be Attractive. Rule 2: Don't be Unattractive. This definitely does go for women as much as men, you're right. That's why theirs a noticeably amount of people on here who've stopped using the 1-10 system for 'rating' woman, it just doesn't make any sense!
