I voted for Stein. Fake doesn't necessarily mean made up; it could also mean taking things out of context or blowing out of proportion, both of which are disingenuous and don't truly represent reality. Which means "not real", or "fake". Btw, her putting news in quotes implies she doesn't believe it is actually news. Something that isn't news but is masquerading as news is an example of fake news. But I don't want to get into this argument again

If I was sexist, I wouldn't have voted for a woman to become president. However, after a second look, it appears that you are right. She isn't blaming Trump. She is criticizing authors who wrote news stories about bullshit, and then is realizing that Trump is right when he complains about fake news.

You are being pedantic because she is clearly placing blame on the administration. Even though "explicitly" is sometimes a synonym for "literally", so is "actually", which is obviously the definition OP was using. Weather is not an accurate comparison since the weather cannot be controlled. This is referring to a leader of a group approving actions of the group members. I don't even subscribe to this sub, I just found this on the front page. Comparing Trump's birther complaints to a man rushing a stage is also disingenuous. He was a household name before he took up that cause. He was even invited to the White House correspondents dinner. Do you blame Obama for giving him that sort of political spotlight too?
