Why isn't sexual assault on this graph?

Yeah, that's fair enough, and to be fair, I actually made that comment before I had finished watching this video. I'd argue that she does kind of give (non-specific) advice in this case two - which is that the left needs a men's movement, or good examples for positive masculinity.

>She doesn't actually offer any concrete solutions I don't know if Contrapoints ever offers solutions? Her thing is more just explaining things and offering her perspective.

I've got to say, you guys don't do a good job of making men's rights seem like a sympathetic movement.

I don't know if googling 'contrapoints men' and this post being the top result and clicking in to see what Men's Rights are saying and upvoting the thread counts as 'brigading'.

The female commenter is clearly nuts.

Sure. Just a random tangent here - it's quite strange how sentences vary a lot. - For example here in New Zealand, - I read a story about some guys who were drinking with a guy and then beat him and accidently killed him - and they got about 4 years. Meanwhile, a group of teenagers beat up a pizza delivery guy and kill him - and the 12 year old look out (didn't even touch the guy) gets 7 years. http://www.safe-nz.org.nz/Data/wharekerrianne.htm - first story. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/art…

Student loan. My student loan is about $35k now. Advice.... don't really have any? - My advice would more be about avoiding doing that first useless degree. :D I feel a lot more motivated doing this second degree - I'm more about getting good marks. Sucks that I have to do the second degree 'from scratch' - a whole three years. I guess make the most of your time at uni again - join social groups, chat up cute girls, get involved.

Interesting. I've done the same thing, sort of. Did a BA in philosphy when I was a silly hippy, now doing computer science, which seems a lot mroe practical.

Best way to not get accused of rape, is to make the sex so enjoyable that she wants to have sex with you again.

I'm going to throw my lot in with people saying 'it's not worth much effort'. This girl is obviously gaming you too, but she's not very good at it. If you text back something clever it'll show her that you've put effort in. I would text back something like 'Cool as. Seeya later :)' And just leave it at that. She might text you later when she's feeling lonely or bored, if that happens, make sure you give it a nice long pause before you text back.

I don't really like the 'no one has to know except us' it sounds dodgy. Rest is good. I'm thinking something like: 'Oh hunny, I'm sorry you feel that way, I think as adults we can have sex and just enjoy each other' while giving her a back rub. And yeah, work the reassurance of respect in there some how.

Also yeah: I would be tempted to say 'Oh wow, that sucks, how would you feel if it was me telling you that?' immediately after she said 'I regret it'.

Great post. Totally agree. A few things: do not sacrifice your own feelings/dignity to make her feel better. eg don't apologize if not don't think you should be sorry. (You could probably say 'I'm sorry you feel that way' though). I'd be inclined to just ignore her hey. By this I mean, it depends on how much she wants to still have to do with you. If she's going to avoid you etc, then yeah, just forget about her, you know that you are in the right. But if she still wants to talk to you etc, then…

Nerdy IS the new hot though. Being nerdy is a DHV. I'm not really talking playing video games, or action figures here, but being computer savvy, being on top of the cutting edge technology. It's more socially acceptable to be a nerd now, now that technology has pervaded all facets of our lives. I don't think your neckbeard nerd is ever going to be sexy, but there are plenty of hot nerds. They do command social presence etc. The thing is not equate being nerdy to being unfit, socially awkward etc…

You mad or something? My point was that to attract pussy, to be alpha, you've got to have your own interests, be your own man. Using your work time to develop yourself, is better use of your time, is going to be more effective in attracting pussy, than trawling craigslist.

Picking up girls from Craigslist etc...? Lame hobby. Read about politics, or making music or something.

I think generally it should work that she's the one clinging to you. My advice is, don't stop being nice, but do start going out and having your own hobbies and interests. So like, you're this boss alpha guy, and she attaches herself to you. You can still keep up the niceness ('Hey sexy lady!'), but remember to be acting like a boss, and not grovelling to her.

Fair point. But I'd argue you're better off spending your time reading up on a hobby or something.

Main thing is to talk to people. I'll usually start by introducing myself to other guys there. It helps you get in the game, and helps you look the part.

I think usually oneitus occurs when the girl happens to give that AFC some attention. It's like 'woah! She smiled at me! She must be the one!'. Oneitus is your brain/pysche taking a shortcut to think *'I just need this one thing, and that will solve everything'. * It's nice to think things like that, it would make life very simple if that were the case, but it's not. This sort of thinking occurs in other ways like 'If I won the lottery I would be happy', 'if only those people respected me, then …

I don't really see this as a female issue, it seems that the main perps were male, and a couple of females joined in. And I can see why this get's flagged on youtube, it's not particularly cool.

Bro, don't pander to her shit. Remember not to get a case of onetitis. edit: oh wait she's 16... swoop in and get her. Be overtly romantic, ask her out on a date or something.

Care to explain the context in which you approached them (ie what were they doing) and how you approached them (what did you say?). I ask this, because as a uni student, I see LOTS of really good looking girls, but not sure how I'd go about approaching them. 90% when I seem there we're both walking somewhere, usually in oppposite directions.

I think the point more is, that a lot of rapes occur in the context of the guy and girl getting it on anyway. ie the girl is into him, but doesn't feel entirely comfortable going all the way or whatever. ie. the guy isn't trying to be a rapist, (unlike how a burglar is trying to be a burglar), and infact he wants to be loving and nice, but his desire to get off, and his sophisticated classy lover self, get mixed up. I think what often happens (i'll admit, I've been guilty of this) is that the gu…
