That movie is misogynistic, if anything. It's all playing into the same phallogocentric construct in men being 'objectified' in the way that MEN think women should 'objectify' men. Not quite 'true,' but language is always ambiguous. I'm sure you were astute enough to gather information from the context of the text to make an educated guess and deduce whether 'fearing' was a gerund or 'women fearing' was an adjective (in which case the singular "woman fearing" would be the proper adjective phrase you were referring to). The former was my intent, if it was not made clear enough for you.
