Nah? Like... you think that winning is so important in game that you're willing to forego basic human decency? To view women as objects to be manipulated, rather than realizing that you can have fulfilling relationships without acting like a douche? I have always had great self esteem but was raised to believe that others came first. A lot of women are. The fixer, pleaser mentality is a trope also. Perhaps its not about self-esteem, but rather, social conditioning? Either way, the whole subcultu…

Ah, interesting! Glad you guys had a fruitful discussion, and though I don't know what you two discussed, I think its really great that you highlighted that feminism isn't the "foe" of seduction. In fact, I think that people who believe that feminism IS the foe are coming from the wrong angle. Too often, I see posts here that border on red-pill bullshit. Men who subscribe to "Game" can sometimes come off like they think that feminism is directly responsible for them having few dating options, bl…

Jesus Christ...is this what you really think? If so, guys like you are the reason that game gets a bad name. "Get your threesomes in with her feminist friends?" You're disgusting. Chiming in as a feminist who studies Game here. Game is supposed to be about becoming the best version of yourself and adopting successful strategies to have a better chance at playing in the dating world. When you make comments like that, disrespectful and childish ones, you sound like a slime-hack straight out of the…

What does this have to do with feminism, exactly? I came to read your full post based on the title and honestly... no idea what your title reference means. Can you elaborate? I ask because I am a feminist who has studied Game strategy excessively, and I have a two-fold opinion/ am right down the middle. A lot of game strategy is useful, of course, but I don't always agree with a lot of it. *shrug*

All of the top examples are low power men. beta dudes get women sometimes too, but I was trying to highlight that women do not LIKE these behaviors in a mate. If they're with beta men who display these behaviors, you can bet she'll bitch about it to her female friends in some form later. The only example of alpha behavior and his effect on his woman is the last one.

Your entire argument reeks of self validation. Why do you want so desperately to believe that pickup is harder for men? You aren't even a woman, you can't possibly have any idea what a female pickup artist goes through in her game. If you sincerely believe your own comments that its harder for men to form meaningful relationships, then you have to understand that a woman who successfully gets a man to commit to her in this way is a good pickup artist who overcame the same challenges that a man m…

If you had to be Brad Pitt in order to pick up women of such high status, pickup wouldn't be a thing. Seriously, have you seen some of the more famous Pickup artists? They're fucking hideous. I don't think pickup is more difficult for one gender or the other. Men and women have different goals ( usually) for getting into the pickup scene. Different goals means different struggles. One is not harder than the other, just hard in different ways.

Nope. Not a red piller, and most of what the red pill preaches is pseudo science, based on cultural values rather than any evidence that gender roles are set in stone. Sexual attraction is sometimes based on these cultural values but generally being attracted to alpha males isn't cultural, its biological. Sorry. :(

Ah, I understand. I didn't say those things in order to sound vain, I guess I wanted to confirm that i'm not one of the "weak" women that pick up supposedly works on. Sometimes people dismiss pickup because they believe that it only works on women with self esteem issues, or women who aren't very good looking, or women who are seeking an authority figure. I fit none of those categories and I am still attracted to men with the "powerful" attitude. I hope that makes sense?

I know. edit; deleted a bunch of stuff because I didn't hit the right point.

Which is why I explained that pickup for women really isn't about sex. it's about finding a good man and getting him to want to KEEP fucking you. edit: more stuff

Thanks for the questions!!! It was really fun to sit down and type it all out, even though its definitely way too long. I have diarrhea of the fingers apparently.

Haha that is TOTALLY true, in some respects. So we can agree to disagree? Perhaps i'm a bit better than average physically, but let's be clear on a few things: Pickup for women is more about internal game and having the power in the relationship. "Hooking" a man is more the objective here, or finding someone who is at least willing to give you ( or me, in this case) what you want out of a successful relationship, usually monogamy or the promise of something long term. IF a woman can hook a man, …

Of course I don't mind. As an academic, especially in the liberal arts, I have a lot of friends who snub PUA and the like because, just like some feminists, the majority of them tend to get a bad rep, probably owing to misconstruing the ideas of pick-up and various little things like "negging". Also, I don't know that many of them want to swallow the fact that the "alpha" personality is ingrained in our DNA, and isn't just something men came up with in order to keep their place as #1 in society.…

I'm a woman, a self proclaimed feminist, and yes, all of this is totally true. Perhaps all the negative attention comes from the fact that these behaviors are rarely conscious. We have conversations with our friends all the time that go something like this: " I love him, but I don't know if I can stay with him if he only wants to be a mechanic for the rest of his life. I know he likes to work with cars, but I can't handle feeling financially responsible for our well being for the rest of my life…

Just saying.... if a dude did this to me I'd be thoroughly creeped out no matter what stage of attraction we were in.

Im sorry if I didn't clarify, but the first question was geared toward YOU. What sort of relationship do you prefer? You weren't very clear. She highlights western dating norms in her preference for making her own plans and having time to herself, while also highlighting the fascination with the more traditional female role of being submissive to an alpha male. From your reply, you prefer the western female approach more? I do to, in a sense. I don't actually view it as a rant, I view it as a pr…

Which relationship do you not suggest? Her involvement with Russians or her involvement with Americans? As a Western woman, I totally understand the dualism and I would loathe dating a man on either side of her extreme examples. Personally, I think that her explanation and frustration with both shows the amazing dichotomy of dating a feminine woman. I don't think it's fair or even adequate to say that a woman in the West would be happy with a man who steals her coffee and dictates her personal c…

This is some great advice. Not a month ago I met a guy at a show. As an attractive, confident girl, we immediately struck up a chemistry together, though I was only being friendly and playful with him. I even friend zoned him immediately with "do you want to be my best friend?". Fast forward throughout the night and he's the only guy that succeeds in getting my number, though I had 5 other options orbiting me. He gets my number, we agree to go out (just as friends) and I had no intentions of doi…

Girls love roleplay, sure, but in a way that is far more playful than his advice suggests. if a guy did ANY of these things to me I'd be out so fast. It just reeks of cocky jerk. No, it's not funny, and no, I wouldn't like it.

Grammar Nazi time: I can't stand his writing style. Good advice, but sweet Jesus, take a class in how to write in full sentences and use punctuation marks before you write blogs that people will want to read and learn from. It took me way too long to read through this.
