most of my friends are already in couple, when I manage to pull someone with me and tell them to back me up when I approach women in bars, they stick to one table in the corner and watch me from afar. I live in Paris and I had women ask me to buy them drinks several times, I made the mistake and did buy a cheap vodka shot for one of them once, chatted a bit then she just disappeared.
