Hey, I am a woman and I’m fat. I want to commend you. I needed to hear something like that. I was not raised to take care of myself, and not to care about myself. So living, let alone trying to be healthy, didn’t even register in my mind. I absolutely would’ve loved, and still would love, someone telling me honestly that sort of advice. TRUTH is kind and loving and caring. I despise people who say all the fat people should jump up and down in California until it breaks off into the ocean. I also…

My boyfriend used to be this way. But now he’s said, with age, he’s become significantly more driven by emotional connection.

He probably isn’t entirely joking. I had a ginger friend who would burn easily and so avoided a lot of sunlight.

1) This bear question is so absurd to me. When I first heard it, it was framed around an actual discussion of camping and so I didn’t catch that it’s a “thing”. 2) The same person who posed it to me originally answered (in the hypothetical scenario) that she’d choose a bear. Later on, in the context of an actual possibility (she’d actually been camping at that point), when the politics are removed, she said she’d rather encounter a serial k*ller than “be a grizzly snack”. Point being, the majori…

Isn’t this mainly that this sub attracts people who feel this way, and the other subs are largely populated by people who… don’t? (I’m not suggesting the other people are in the right.)

I think that is a relatively healthy way to be regardless of gender. I think that it’s freeing for anyone to not care what others think of them (outside of doing genuinely bad things). That said, I know society has become increasingly hard on men and (especially media) seems to have become increasingly dominated by women. I dislike both aspects. Instead of pulling towards the neutral ground (treating men and women as different but equally valuable in their own right) it’s playing hard towards on…

Why do you define yourself as a loser? I don’t even know which side you claim views men as inherently flawed, but given that feminists pretty much claim men are useless (or that women shouldn’t be equal to men but should be men or like men)… I assume you have to think conservatives think men are inherently flawed. But, I don’t get what you are inferring that from?

Man, I never would’ve expected this. I can’t imagine treating anyone like that, nor can I imagine being so entitled that you believe you’re more or less owed sex for your time. I get it, the stereotype is in the other direction - that men would be expecting it for their time (and probably, money) but with women hating said stereotype, for them to then FIT that same stereotype is crazy.

So the rule is… don’t date a feminist. I’d think you’d know what you’re getting yourself into if you do. Not all women are feminists. Also, for both sides - don’t get complacent. Complacency leads to lack of caring and a host of other issues.

Lol the same people who would likely encourage her to be sneaky and underhanded or be overly sympathetic with her if she later wanted to report it falsely.

These women are disgusting and incredibly ignorant. Let them live on an island together with only other women and see how long they last and how well they actually get along. Society likes to pretend that women are just happy and rosy with one another and it’s simply not true. It just comes out in different forms. And when there is no testosterone to balance things out? Trouble in the making. I’m sorry that you even encountered women like this. It’s embarrassing to know women like this even exis…

Do your parents support you? Is the assignment about something political (directly or indirectly) or something that you patently disagree with or just you’d rather do this subject over what was assigned? If you don’t disagree with it, suck it up. If you do and your parents support you (or you’re in college on your own) then stand up for yourself. If you are going to fail the class for it or something and you’re on your own, it depends.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
