2	Feminism and MRA subreddit idea. Are there any noteable feminists who post here and are reasonable? Or are engaged in civil discourse with MRAs? We don't need the endorsement of the entire reddit feminist establishment. Surely, there exists some feminist known to the MRA movement who would be brave enough to act independent of radical feminists. 1	In ancient Rome, there was a time when authorities tried to get men to "man up" and marry. But there are numerous examples of monogamous cultures being prolific in the very very long term. And then dwindling. Not at all for "artificial swelling" of population. And there are numerous examples of non-monogamous cultures being prolific. And then dwindling. Genghis Khan killed the men and inseminated the women of conquered peoples. But, both the Khan and the Islamic empire fell. So, I see no case for calling monogamous systems more unsustainable than non-monogamous ones. Also, "very recent" could mean 20000 years ago. Meaning some peoples could have been evolutionarily selected for monogamy, yet we still have markers telling us our genetic history also contains non-monogamous history. The argument that mainstream feminism is not concerned with equality but rather promoting female interest has been made here often. Done by people way smarter than I am. And I admit, the above was a bit harsh, the female education profs in my program are actually quite neutral and overall awesome. They are encouraging when I want to pursue male issues in education.
