So a thousand years ago when people were getting married at 14 or younger, the whole world was just frozen in a state of constant trauma right? Stop creating modern problems that have no reason to exist. If people truly do get 'traumatized' by a natural and human activity that everyone craves after puberty (which usually hits before 14) then you making a big deal makes it a lot harder for them to move on.
