Can confirm: I'm a crim major livig in the Deep South. It's actually really sad. We know that we have a huge population of abused men but they won't step up. Especially in the south because of our social expectations

Just an FYI, that is actually a legitimate case of rape. It's usually under reported bc the spouse feels like it's their duty to provide sexually. I know this bc I'm in my senior year of a criminology degree and that was a topic we explored. Marriage rape is kind of serious
