Depends on the area massively. I work the metro D.C. Market so im sure it's a lot harder in less desirable areas but out here it's pretty good. I went to school in Michigan and had to give up my social life I built out there because there just isn't the same income potential as there is here. Just out of curiosity what do you usually do around those hours I have no problem during the day bit at night if I've already worked out and got all my work done I can't usually find anything that's better to do. Obviously I can if there's something I need or want to do but usually when there isn't it's me default after work activity

Yea but I mean like weekdays there isn't much else to do socially. And I get 7-8 hours of sleep that's not every night but some nights. I'm working out, working, and I get most of my errands done on the clock. Work in my industry is generally only about 6 hours and it includes working weekends so my days off are during the week when other people aren't really free.

Yea I can but say I put in a good day of work, gym, etc. I'll play from like 8pm- 2am. There isn't a ton better I could be doing at those hours assuming I did everything I was supposed to but a girl seeing you play six hours is gonna be like wtf bro

That basically what I'm trying to say. Through college I could get away with this because it actually made me look good to get laid y different girls and be hard to lock down. Now with more people starting g to go LTR and move in together that's what I'm worried about. Having to either give up my hobby or have her be like I'm cool with it and then over time not be.

I mean I'm done with school and I work out. I'm starting a new career in the new home industry, currently interviewing to lever offers against each other but I'm a very desired candidate. Basically the time other people watch garbage on tv I'd rather play a video game but for some reason people seem to find that worse ( in the real world not in Reddit obviously). I get what you're saying though for sure.

Yea I get all that I'm generally pretty confident but I'm not perfect I know what most gamers and anime people are like so I keep it hidden cuz I don't wanna be associated with that. And some girls are just straight up unaware much like some blissful betas are unaware of their white knight shoulder to cry on tendencies. Not everyone is smart and self aware and females are no exception.

True that I've honestly met some girls that would be perfect me online (aka pretty attractive and down with my worst of hobbies) but I'm not about to uproot my life for someone I meet online and meeting girls out at the bar it's not really a topic of conversation haha. I already take care of myself watch what I eat and have a career ( new home sales) and drive a nice car so I'm not like a bum by any means it's just that social stigma seems stronger than it should be is all.

Yea that's what I'm doing with success but it usually is a common factor in why I choose not to keep going for someone of dump someone. I guess I'll keep figuring it out just wanted to see if anyone has any personal experience that might shine a new light on how I think of it

That's kinda what I already do. I like to think of it like macros where it doesn't matter what I do long as the proportions are right. Unfortunately the social stigma of gaming versus tv watching looks so much worse that it's hard to overcome when dealing with an outsider looking in.

Yea that's how I see it, but I've met plenty of girls that (probably having met guys with no sec control) the presence of enjoying gaming alone is a deal breaker even if they want to veg out on Netflix twice as long

I quit league of legend for this exact reason I was wasting like the first half of my freshman year and thankfully my roommate was a good bro and got me out enough before it was too late but making that simple change pretty much 180'd my college experience. I think the mentality I'm hoping for is called purple pill here? Basically I want the best of both but I want to know if anyone's achieved it or if it's too hard to be sustainable
