Yeah it's a hypothetical, it's normal for it to be made up.

I agree but this doesn't disprove or is mutually exclusive with what I said.

That's not it, it's an option between having more men who would want to date and having less men wanting to date, pretty sure women will prefer the former.

He's not talking about men who already don't want to date, he is talking about a hypothetical where men who currently want to date decide to not do that. So in this scenario the men who wants to date and who you would want to date becomes scarce, so you would have less opportunities for dating even men should like you.

Then what was the point of your comment, this post is not just about losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 05:03 PM

It's because men haven't really gone away or anything, if women actually started having problems they would definitely complain.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 05:02 PM

Why do you think so?

I was talking about the original comment which justified his reply.

So you pointlessly made this about you, you could've not said anything if you thought the post wasn't talking about you.

So?

It's to grain traction for their new book.

Solutions don't magically appear out of nowhere and not everybody has the ability to come up with solutions to all problems. It's only whining if there's no point in complaining about something
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 05:04 AM

People can be victims to circumstances, like natural disaster victims.

Ok

Isn't it financial abuse?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 09:22 AM

Even before that it was clear that she was financially abusing him.

Oh, are we talking about a pointlessly specific situation now?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 03:25 PM

Exactly

A child is solely a woman's responsibility when she decides to give birth despite the father not wanting it, else it's both their responsibilities.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 03:15 PM

One could say the same about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 03:13 PM

Not the ones who prefer abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 03:10 PM

So you think your statement was sane?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/25 02:39 AM

Delusional.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/25 01:46 AM

Why are you so angry?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/25 01:37 AM

That's just your opinion, I almost thought you had a proper argument.

Paternity tests can have nothing to do with trust. Even if I trusted my partner I would still want it just in case. I don't like uncertainty, so I will take any chances to make things more certain.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 10:07 PM

Why are you avoiding the question?

You show much empathy by making him out to be a petty person who dislikes women because how some woman treated him and not someone with an actual concern. If women keep being dismissive like this when men bring up things they are worried about, is there any surprise when men don't show any concern for women's issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 01:42 AM

You care enough that you have to keep replying that you don't care, are you afraid of people finding out you actually care?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 01:24 AM

It's not a personal attack ,it's what your comment felt like. He was just asking for understanding and your reply was harsh like you just skimmed the post and just decided it was just another post about 'how unfair it is that he doesn't get to sleep with women'.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 02:52 PM

It seems like you just skimmed the post or maybe you lack reading comprehension.

Then the father shouldn't be expected to pay child support either.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 03:56 PM

Here both point to different things
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 04:06 PM
1

Nah you are understanding it wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 04:04 PM

No one is thinking that old media didn't have any sexist elements, The problem is not acknowledging the same thing when it comes to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 05:56 AM
6

It's not about feelings, if these kinds of extreme views are normalised it could directly affect how men are treated in the society and when even some men support it, a single person becomes powerless to do anything about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 05:42 AM
1

It's not a simple trust issue problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 04:26 PM

Why the need to go through all these when there is an obvious solution?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 03:55 PM

But there is no reason not to take a paternity test, other than the woman getting offended, it's better for everyone in the end.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 03:52 PM

I meant in general not about anal sex
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 08:17 AM

If my partner was willing to go an extra mile for someone else but not for me, it would make me doubt her love for me and make me feel insecure. I don't think the woman is in the wrong and she may have a good reason for her choice, but still I wouldn't want to continue the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 04:37 AM
1

The situation would be more equal and better if women stopped whining too and other women stopped supporting them and blaming their problems on other issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 03:06 PM
2

Then wouldn't you also be considered delusional for wanting to be treated as a princess
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 06:33 PM
3

Most men don't have these standards
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 06:30 PM
3

Then it shouldn't be a problem if a man wanted to treated like a king.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 04:10 PM
2

Not really. But if you do believe that, what kind of delusions do you think they have?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 04:09 PM

I do think WAW is a bias, my problem is how people don't see it as such. There are situations where people go overboard in trying to help children at the cost of someone else, other times I don't see anything wrong with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 04:01 PM
2

Even then it is stupid
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 03:55 PM
1

What does that have to do with my reply, I was just saying that the person you replied to didn't try to undermine rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 03:52 PM

But is it worse than dying?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:55 PM

Men do generally have lower standards
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:37 PM

The way the things are men wouldn't get much support even if they advocated for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:15 PM

What makes you think that?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:12 PM

Both men are two different sets of people. Misogynists actually want to be the sole earners and want their partners to be dependent on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:03 PM

Also women are traditionally seen as the ones needing protection, fragile and unable to harm. Something similar to the 'women are wonderful' effect happens to children as well, people are more willing to give special advantages and benefit of doubt to children generally.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 05:51 AM

You're getting offended over a joke.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 07:10 AM

Men did look out for women
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 05:20 AM

Because women being sexist is socially accepted and anytime someone points it out it's not taken seriously. It's not that men haven't caught up to modern world, it's just that in modern world men are encouraged to be more accommodating and giving towards women to not be seen as sexist while women are encouraged to fight for themselves and try to obtain as many advantages as they can.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
