1	Wikipedia is promoting Women's History Month by asking editors to "close the gender gap" by writing female biographies. Their reasoning? "Wikipedia hosts 1.7 million biographies. 32	Everything you see The two statements are actually slightly different. The poster is talking about inanimate objects whilst your example is about living people. But the biggest difference is that men and women raise children together (albeit normally taking on different roles) whereas the majority of construction has been done by males (although nowadays it is changing).
