It's just the way our modern society has become. With everything needing to be PC and dolled up, some people grow tired of it and seek a different path. Obviously, RP isn't a new concept - our country was pretty much founded on it. But as we drift further and further away from it, it tends to become a déclassé topic, and more and more men succumb to the BP ideals (submissive, the female is always right, if I'm myself she'll eventually love me, etc). Thanks to the internet, us likeminded individu…

I woke up this morning and had this exact thought. Tweeted something to the effect of "Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate the fact that you're single. Go you!" It got a bunch of retweets and favorites, so apparently this train of thought isn't limited to TRP

This post was the last straw for me. I was subbed to AskWomen for a while because I found the perspectives interesting sometimes, but after this massive circejerk, I had to get out.

Content is always good in this sub, but this very same article was posted about half an hour before you posted yours.

Or how the comment section is a bunch of cringe worthy meme references, because "anyone that hates women this much must be a fedora wearing neckbeard!!1"

Love TFM. The politics and the way they see the world over there are very similar to TRP. It's so refreshing to read stuff like this outside of this subreddit

I love that she can be a self-proclaimed feminist and liberal, yet she supports Phil Robertson's ability to express his personal beliefs and acknowledge a difference between males and females. Dare I say, best feminist I've ever heard of?

So true ^ People are quick to judge fraternity stereotypes, and I've heard everything ranging from calling frat guys "homophobes and douchebags" to rapists. It's unbelievable how quickly people judge things that they really have no idea about.

Just finished my freshman year and first year in a fraternity. It's honestly the greatest thing you can do in school. A lifelong bond with your brothers, crazy ragers, girls (both at school and home) dig frat guys. It's a good experience and a sense of fraternity and belonging is the best thing you can have man.

Really good point here - instead of taking rejection personally, take it as nothing more than a lesson on what was wrong. Maybe she didn't like you (and she's allowed to not like you) maybe you were awkward or creepy, who knows. But take it as a free lesson on what to do differently next time

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
