I’ve had women tell me they appreciate that. then when I show vulnerability to these same women they’re visibly turned off and don’t respect me after that. I’ve been told by them that the woman should be the emotional one and that men need to be able to handle their own feelings themselves. This has happened with women I’ve dated and women who I’ve been friends with, long term and short term.
