Feminism invades atheism? Thats a mens rights issue? I call bullshit. If mormons invade the NFL, is that an MR issue too? And posting one here before the others is irrelevant if you post them all one after the other. So 'wanting to see how they reacted' doesn't fly either.
/r/MensRights04/09/12 01:51 PM

Don't spam your sub here. Athiests already have a bad rep on Reddit. No need to make it worse.
/r/MensRights04/09/12 11:12 AM

OP posted this simultaneously in /r/athiesm, /r/atheismplus and here. Why? Not really relevant to this sub, imho.
/r/MensRights04/09/12 11:03 AM

PUA related material doesn't belong here. MR has nothing to do with getting laid.

Can't wait to hear a radical feminists excuse for this woman. It will probably go like this: "This womans behavior is a symptom of her being traumatized by men in the past. Since the tenant filming her is a victim of her behavior, he is indirectly also a victim of the patriarchy, therefore confirming that feminism is the only thing that can ensure men protection from the systematic and endemic oppression of women." Either that, or she's acting that way because of her lack of privilege.

Not a good idea. They don't always know if they are having 'empowering sex' or being raped(*), so you might end up in a Julian Assange situation. (*) = until the next morning

Also the reaction of portraying critics as 'paranoid'. it becomes apparent that both of these issues would contradict the feminist claim of male dominance and female victimization, particularly with the tendency for the more radical sets within the feminist movement to view other victims or sufferers within society as competition, detracting from the public's sympathetic perception of women by association or comparison. Best comment I've seen on /r/MensRights in a long time.

Someone once encouraged me long ago with this reminder: 'You haven't lost until you either surrender or die. You control the first, fate controls the second.' Your'e obviously not dead (yet), so winning is just a matter of holding on longer than the fuckwads that are shitting on you. Can you do that, Il128? Never surrender. Never. You'll never be able to look in the mirror again. Anger is a great motivator if you use it for something positive. If you give up, they win. Let me ask you this: If on…

Ugly men and women flirting on the internet while pretending to be someone else. So what? No offense, but I just don't see this as a MR problem.
/r/MensRights11/06/12 06:34 AM

As a man I can laugh at the stupidity of other males. I don't see a problem. If she was decieving men for profit or some evil motive then it would be uncool, but she's just enjoying the attention pretty girls take for granted. Where's the misandry or discrimination?

How about a Child Support Check Fairness Act? Edit: found this in the comments to OP's link: Male models and porn stars can finally start earning the same as their (comparatively) overpaid female co-workers.
/r/MensRights10/06/12 03:30 PM

There's nothing in that article that claims only (or mostly) men are on the no-fly list. You just added that yourself to try and make it a MR issue. You posted it in /r/Libertarian, then added an MR ending to the title hoping it would gain traction here. Proof.

Well, this is good news. Women have now lost the right to complain about sexism in TV. Don't expect many of them will know that, though. It's actually about money. Women make most of the shopping decisions in households, so networks can boost advertising by making shows that present women the way they want to see them selves. It's just lifestyle porn.

Even though you called me an idiot, I'll help you out. Since you're female (and rude) you probably don't know, but a lot of men don't like to use condoms. We do (and SHOULD) use them when we need to, but we would like more choices. Women can choose between many different forms of birth control. Men have one choice: condom or no condom. Thats one reason. Another is its nice to be able to have spontaneous sex with our SO even if we forgot a condom. Another is that if a woman in a monotonous relati…

Men could learn a lot from this. Don't ignore warning signs and let yourself be pressured into marriage. It causes pain to both sides.
/r/MensRights08/08/11 01:40 PM

Good post, dolphin. You have no idea how hard I am laughing right now. Wow, I needed that. Thanks. First laugh came when I heard the line 'I was afraid of trees...' but this: 'One night on stage I actually entered my vagina. It was an ecstatic experience. It scared me, it energized me, and then I became a driven person. A driven vagina' made me spit up my coffee. That quote right there is the definitive bankruptcy statement of the current feminist movement. Imagine a MRA saying: 'One night on st…

When the male pill comes out, its going to be a sexual revolution for men. Suddenly we will have the same choices as women.

Excellent post. Circumsision isn't done here in Europe unless the parents ask for it. I really hope something is done about this in the US. The legal hypocrisy here is so obvious. Does anyone know who is lobbying for the circumsision of males in the US? I doubt their reasons can be rational.

A guy can 'let loose' on his blog all he wants. I don't really see a difference between ZM's blog post and you venting here on r/MR(*). Both are fine with me. i just don't think the MRM should be tied to any ideology. ZM doesn't want libertarians taking over and you don't want liberals taking over. No offense dolphin, but your comments here just make you look as butthurt as ZM. Take a Lebowski pill and remember wer'e all on the same side here. = r/MR is a place where men can vent, so I don't hav…

I checked the healthcare.gov site the site quotes as a source, and found this: http://www.healthcare.gov/law/about/provisions/services/lists.html So many of these services are for both sexes and some only for men. Always good to see a good source in an article, but a bit selective in it's use. Good post. We men aren't very good at going to the doctor as women, so definitely a good issue.
/r/MensRights02/08/11 06:50 PM

Nothing to do with MR imho.

Exactly. Like I said, its been done before. http://www.reddit.com/r/Equality
/r/MensRights01/08/11 11:17 AM

It's been done before. That's why r/GenderEquality was taken. I don't think MensRights is at war with any other reddits. People who sub to MensRights getting banned/censored in other reddits does'nt mean MensRights is at war with those reddits. The x-posts are mostly people trying to start drama. Got banned? Got censored? Deal with it. 2xC has a lot of reasonable mods, and kloo is pretty hands off. So: Female wants to talk to men : r/MensRights (ignore/downvote the misogyny) Male wants to talk t…

I doubt the billboard was his idea. Look at it: Endorsed by www.rtlnm.org (Right to Life New Mexico). Pulling a media stunt like this sounds more like their methods. He's getting paid to get even with his ex. She lawyers up, and the pro-lifers have given the lawyers something to fight about in the media. Everyone gets paid, even the journalist. Edit: spelling.

Redditor for 22 days....... Re-post from outside reddit........ I tried http://bookblog.net/gender/analysis.php and the result says "female". OP's history checks out, but the total perfect english (yeah, I know the dutch are good at it and I know about spell checkers..) and the other factors makes my troll alarm tingle. Again, no offense intended Edgar, but this is r/MensRights. It wouldnt be the first time a troll stopped by. Edit: syntax

Moderate feminists can be accused of being misandrists as well. It's not just an MRA problem. Extremists need to justify themselves by projecting an external threat. I'm not gonna waste time arguing with ignorant people. This subreddit is for men and the women who support them.

I don't click on Gawker links, and I'm told that Jezebel is one of the more air-headed fem blogs/sites. So I'm not surprised if they twist things to fit their agenda.

all i want is the right to work and travel without legal male consent and to be able to own and live in a house as a single female without threats of rapes to "straighten" me out by men AND women No one on /mensrights has said you shouldn't have that right. i'm straight, wanting equality does not mean i want to be a "man" and rights should never be gender biased Everyone on /mensrights would agree with that. and this is why i would call myself a feminist. problem? Nope.

I think the womens subreddit have the same amount of lunatics and trolls that r/Mensrights have, so you have to focus on the positive. Ignore the bad, reply to the good. Don't waste time on idiots.

/r/MensRights01/03/11 11:20 PM

I'm finding more and more women like you, and it's very encouraging.
/r/MensRights01/03/11 10:36 PM

Actually most feminists and women in general I've met outside reddit sympathize with mensrights. However, things get sticky when they are actually confronted with the implications it can have on their own life; having to share custody of children with fathers, not being able to harvest sympathy as "the weaker sex" anymore, schools which try and balance the education policies that favor girls, fair alimony laws, etc. It's easy to pay lip service out of politeness, but when it happens to them then…
/r/MensRights27/02/11 12:48 PM

Like I said in my other reply, I suspect this of being a troll post. Post a video of some woman getting slapped, and try and harvest applause.
/r/MensRights27/02/11 12:23 PM

Agreed. MensRights has nothing to do with punishing women.
/r/MensRights27/02/11 12:19 PM

Most likely a troll post, but in case it isn't I'll make this clear: That video has nothing to do with MensRights. There's nothing good about it. That cop should be fired, at least.

A hero is a person who sacrifices something to help those who need help. To me, it doesn't matter if its to help a man, woman, hospital, website, legal right or cat.
/r/MensRights30/01/11 03:22 PM

Good idea. I'm a big fan of r/mensrights, but it needs to be more than a hall of shame of evil women. Men doing good sounds very positive. Maybe we could also post about women who support mensrights.
/r/MensRights30/01/11 02:22 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
