These kind of stats crack me up whenever I see them. Like, what’s the next step here? The only way I could see this stat being in any way “women’s rights” is if the number is disproportionate... like, if 10% of journalists but 19% of journalist deaths are women. But something tells me that ain’t it.

The definition I subscribe to is similar - ‘stereotyping knowledge’ is how I’d put it. For example, take insert local favourite sport. You meet a random dude, maybe you assume they follow it; you meet a random chick, and you assume they don’t.
